put in context to who he said it to. It is a racial slur may not be what you are used to hearing but anyone calling a woman a ho and nappy headed because of there race that was a slur but meh some people are just ignorant to what is said .

Not really, when you put it in the context of what kinda offenseve stuff rap gets away with, what he said was nothing.

And that's what's so sad about the situation. Gangsta rappers make millions off of calling women **Filtered**, etc. and he makes a joke about a girl's basketball and he gets fired for it.

I'm not condoning his comments, I'm just disgusted that we Americans put up with rap (hell, a lot of young adults idolize it) and yet we're outraged at his single joke.

Yeah, but Imus was white. The rappers are usually ( 9 times out of 10 ) African American ( Or dark skinned for the ones who aren't American). For some reason society allows for another race to talk about them selves and think nothing of it or laugh at it. However, once one race talks about another, the other takes it as offensive.

Still doesn't explain that Chappelle guy or that Mencia guy, lol

You know, rap music has been railed against by the black community in america for quite a while.

It's just that you see more media coverage of the Black community going after a WHITE jounalist then you ever will of the Black community attacking the "black" community.
