How have YOU modded SGW ?Warning, large pics WILL SIDESCROLL

EDIT: fixed the sidescroll
The apperance of the game of course.
With all of the tools avalible for firefox, from
AdBlock to
Remove it Permanetly (RIP ) there each of us can view the game in a differnt way.
Do we want to see all that art and banners ? Do we want to see our techs ? etc etc.
Those who, like me, alter the way you view the game; post screen caps of vanila SGW in IE, and moded SGW in firefox. (just edit out stats)
And here are my base screens in IE and FF, and the login screens in FF as well (I dont feel like loading it in IE, as none of the pics are in my cache)
(forgive me if theyre a bit big, I did the screencaps at the normal resolution for my monitor, and resized them down some)

Modded: Note how theres less to bother looking at ? Much more functonal.
And the login screen. I cropped off most of it, cause theres nothing to see.

1 this belongs here. its a good topic.
2. Allow the mods to choose themselves how to move. Its not necesary to do our job. You can allways inform mods but thats whatr you should do
3 it would be even better if you could give advice how to do the modding

Btw ther was a topic about sgw graphics somewhere. Imo the whole interface should be changed.

The origonal Wes Janson account was deleted ages ago, While I was in Iraq.
I got hit, decided to leave the game and then changed my mind and returned under a differnt name.

Perhaps this is an question with an obvious answer to some, but why? Why turn off all the graphics? Why spend time looking for ways to block the few aesthetically pleasing portions of the site?
I have a high speed connection, fast computer, lots of memory, etc. so I prefer to see nice, attractive web pages instead of white text on a black background and boring page layouts. From a design standpoint, SGW is already nearly as bland as you can get.
If anything, SGW needs a graphic refit and a more attractive layout, color scheme, graphics set, and better JS integration.

Well, Im on dialup

And even when I had a satalite connection in Iraq, I adblocked much cause it rarley ran fast.
And now that Im back to dialup again, I prefer the slightly faster load time.
Personaly, I prefer bland websites.
Function before form.

Yes I also agree SGW does not need to become more bland than it already is
