Question about all races. . .

Now I know this much;

Tauri - 25% Better attack / Better attack weapons (Cheaper too)
Asgard - 25% Better defence / Better defence weapons (Cheaper too)
Replicator - 25% Better covert / Cheaper spy levels
Gould - 25% Better Income / Balanced stats

Those advantages and disadvantages are ok but could have been done better but anyway it may be too late for that, but why were all ascended races created equally, all that is different is the name i.e. System Lord, Ancient etc etc.

This isn't a suggestion yet but would people like to see Ascended races have different bonuses and by that I do mean different, not a follow on percentage from their un-evolved race, but different bonuses like Ancient might have something to do with an income bonus but that is just an example of what I mean.

Thoughts?

No, brand new bonuses for each Ascended race, think of them as 4 new races with no bonuses, yet.

I'd say System Lord, additional starting 10% income bonus
Ancient, additional starting 5% defense bonus
Tolan, additional starting 5% attack bonus
NanoTiMaster, additional starting 10% covert/anticovert bonus
Apart of ascended levels that gives 5% each time until 5th ascension.
Vac mod on ascended would not alter those bonuses as they would be like unascended ones, totally seperated from ascension.
But I will say we should maybe not put cheaper weapons & levels of covert/anticovert because that would screw things, maybe?

They're REPLIcators not COVERT cators.

Yah I agree :), itd make the game more interesting and stuff, some decision as to the upgrades.. mabye like have instead of 5% per ascend 3% and have some race bonuses as well :), I think there is a limited amount of bonusess and stuff in ascension with personal stats (think)

i reckon it should have been based on how you ascended

Like, if you ascended with a huge UP you get a % UP bonus. Ascend with lots of naq you get income bonus. You ascend with a very big covert level/attack/defence etc. Also though, if you ascend with a long list of attack logs, you get an attack bonus

Well this is a good suggestion but it wouldnt make that big diffeence,i.e. LG´s,if they are both tolans,have he same amounts of ascends than the bonus is the same.
Only thing that would be achieved would be increase in power numbers,but maybe we should have bonuses for each ascended race but truly i never bothered with that,i am ascended,have better weapons and bonus so.... :-D

It would be neat if each race actually had different mothership stats. It would be too hard to have different motherships, but you could still have an attack/defense/fleets bonus and have the cost of the weapons different as well. Of course there would have to be balance like the race bonuses.

I'm just talking a little variation.

Each ascended race starts or with bonuses of different percentages in different areas and each ascension increases it a fixed percentage therefore there will be a difference in the races and will affect how people play the game and may make it a little less boring.

Forget the current 5% stat increase (1% after 6 ascensions)

For Motherships, I think System Lords should have something like invisible tech, sorta like holograms, that means with a random % you can't touch the opposite's Mothership (like 1 hit/4 hits randomly put).
NanoTiMasters get better attack, Ancients better def (not so much both).
Tollan hmmm their MS in SG1 are not good so they get a little cheaper fleets, maybe...

Because Replicators didn't exist at the start of the game, the Tok'ra were the 4th race initially, then it got changed and they were stuck with the race bonus of the Tok'ra

Yes - but I want the 30 % LG bonus on all stats to stay with the ascended races, all of them. I'd like something new for each race.

Like... some kind of different technology. But has to be fair like one race can not have an UP bonus cause then most people will choose that race. Perhaps all with different Mothership bonuses, System Lords with better and cheaper fleets? Ancients with better and cheaper shields etc.

I don't know just an idea that needs some work.

If this is put into place, the race changes needs to be changed. Ascended players should NOT be able to change race when ever without no penalties.

well i guess it would kinda also make sense for Replicators to have covert bonus as they are able to change forms/be anyone etc
