I've been playing this other game for awhile now and in it they allow factions/alliances to go public. meaning anyone in gmae can own part of the alliance not just members. this adds another eliment to the game alliance can be taken over by individuals from other ones etc. id ont know if it would work here but i thought id post anyway

lol. Float your alliance on the stock market???

tis one of the more....inventive suggestions I've heard. Personally, I think it would never work in SGWars....you've not even suggested a mechanism for it or anything?

You want people to pay naq to own part of an alliance? But then whats to stop the real alliance members simply leaving? Or disbanding? You woudl own nothing. What are the rewards for owning part of an alliance? What can these share holders make the alliance do?

Basically, what I'm trying to say is....think the idea through a bit more.

The only thing I can think is is that whoever 'buys' stock gets a faction of the total alliances UU.

Or the other to 'currencies'

AT's (naw).
Naq? (Then why bother seeing shares in the first place.)

(i should visit IFSC more often i guess)

I do not have a good idea what you are talking about, but what would you buy the shares with? Naq? So the alliance would get the naq for the shares, but what do the shareholders get? If it is modeled after rl then whoever owns 51% runs the company so would only 49% be for sale? How would prices be set?

Yes after looking into how it is run in the other game i can see it wouldnt work here as there is nothing players build to make profits like in the game where is does work there are casinos, banks, etc
