How many types are there?

I can only think of 3. Anyone got any others?

3 being:
- (Military) Main Alliance
- (Military) Trainer Alliance
- Trade Alliance

Trade alliance ? you mean couple of guys working together to make as much $ out of this game as possible ?


i have nothing to the fact that you are selling stuff for $

that is not an alliance worthy of the name alliance in my opinion, an alliance is a group of friends working together to enjoy the game as much as possible, not to make as much profit as possible.

Well back when the game was smaller alliances were different, I remember a few alliances that only had a few people and one person would only work on covert, one on attack, and one on defense and the naq would go to the person with a defense to get a large income and share it with the group. In an alliance set up like that you would only have a few people with good stats while everyone else farmed to get them naq and stuff. It took a whole alliance saving up turns to be able to mass someone so it made sense just to have one person with a high attack. And then you had alliances such as the Tok'ra where all of the members would be in different alliances as spies so no one would actually be in a "Tok'ra" alliance.

Patrick...this is immoral...you selling for cash while others are sloughtering eachother...

Peaceful alliance, one that does not seek war or enemies but looks for powerufl allies to help them grow.

not trade for cash, just trade in general. all i do ingame is trade. want or need something ill try get it dont want something ill sell it, thats what we do

this game helps me study for college. learned economics,accounting,management, communication and more

I think here lies one of those players both sides could agree upon targeting...

Im getting a bit tired of his new threads and post, but if I massed him then would that force me to ask to join Alpha?

I really hatted getting an add to buy resources in my Email.

I play this game to have fun, and to see it commercialized by players taking advantage of Forums high rates for resources is annoying.

They just enjoy the game by making profit. If this is against the rules why there's black market? Anyway, nobody can ban black market, it'll always exist. Somewhere.

But i think most alliances have a mix of players that prefer to play the game differently i.e. im in alpha, i dont go around massing like a crazy man 24/7 like som eof my alliance buddies yet we are considered a fighting alliance.

And when it comes to people, there are three types, those who can count and those who cant.

Rofl, I guess, you're the one that can't count.
