Its broke.

Lets talk bout fixin it.

a idea is... hear every1's opinion on threads and be respective toward ppl's opinion instead of flaming off if u dont like it. or if u wana say u dont like a person's opinion, politely say that u dont like it. wheneva sum1 flames off and says they dont like sumthing. it just stirs ppl up.

And Tetrismonkey, cussing is a GOOD reason for someone to be massed.

I got massed when I was new, and didnt cuss at anyone.

Zao, agreed people need to focus on point by point rebuttals (or at least calmly saying why they wouldnt like it) instead of flaming.

I'd give Tok'ra my vote of confidence to come up with a solution to the problem.

Not to cause trouble, nor anything personal... it's just that a solution Tok'ra can keep himself stick to, should be stickable to by everyone who actually wants to better this community.

Sometimes, you can save a fruit basket by taking out the rotten fruit. Sometimes, you just have paint the basket like it was.
And sometimes, you could solve things by eating the rotten fruit first. And quickly. Then when the dust settles, and the fruit flies have died, you will have a good taste left of it. You will have generally enjoyed the experience, even though it caused you a slight discomfort.


Tok'ra, you know much about these things. You know *WHY* people go cussing and swearing and being a sore-arse from time to time. You've done it yourself... and to make clear that I don't mean to insult you... you've shown you're able to step back and look at the situation from a distance.
Show me again... what happens that causes such discomfort between the apples and the bananas? Goody, I love metaphors.
Let's see if we can eat the fruit after all.

Indeed, that rule has long been ignored.

Hell, I know numerous mods that have STARTED flamewars, so its something everyone has done.

at first i wouldnt flame back. but ppl continued to flame at me witch eventually stirred me up to do it back.

im just posting up ideas. if ppl like it or not. and if they wana do it or not. thats up to them.

You should stick to your own posting-area. lol

Personally I say take the whole forum offline for a week. So peole can get a grip on reality.

I dont care how much a lto of people say they play this a tiny bit w/e there are a ton of people on these forums that are on when I go out and still on when I get in, with like 6h gap.

Turning them off may help them realize its not serious and it IS just a game.

me, my bro, and my friends talk about that in real life. how ppl take this game seriously. we joke around about it.
