Very comendable.
Simple fact is I doubt few left on either side want it to end.
And even fewer CIA alliances want to face Omega or DD on their own or some COP alliances vs TL or TA on their own right now under those terms. It is not about going alliance vs alliance only. It is about the one sided way the game has been.
The simplest solution is for those that do want it to end to leave and join DUNE etc... That will leave the war mongers one both sides to doing what they like best.
The game is divided among those that like war and those that wish to stat build. Now most all of those that enjoy war are busy leaving the stat builders alone. I have not read many complaints from any alliance outside of the war being overly bothered by any of the contestants?
Let the contestants decide, those that are still here are determined to have it continue, an artificial end would just be that artificial.
A long term date such as 311 suggested may work. That would have to be disscussed.

STI its a great idea but what prevents it going back into a big war after the first naq hits again as you say it will be one on one so that would mean Omega can pick a fight with one of the CIA smaller alliances and we cant do nothng but sit by.........
We should return to the game as it was i think CoP knows now they arent the superpower as many noobs thought they were and they will hopefully be more cautious to do random massings and bullying people.......
look i think i speak for the most of CIA if i say i aint bothered being farmed by one that can farm me and with that i mean can farm me cause he can and not because he has a big alliance......
I remember when i got farmed by KGC earlier and i was always thinking if i build a high enough def to not make it worth for him anymore he will stop and he did
just to mention that most of us really could care less about being farmed but i dont like being farmed by someone who only can cause he is an omegan or someone from DDE......
If replijake masses me and im able to mass him back i would have a chance of doing that wihtout having this war all over again doing things like farming / massing brings risks that the farmer might actually farm you back or maybe even mass you if he gets enough of it.....
this game got outta hand since the day CF for wasted and the GA could do whatever they wished i know they prolly could do it before that but there was always something like an invisible border to stop them from going nuts........
I think we are ready to give peace another chance but unless you dont want to have another war like this anytime soon people from both sides have to ease up and show some respect to eachother before going on a massing spree.....

what i think would stop it is where you all are now, does anyone want to go back to this (or should i say the majority)

Well STI does not know me well. I meant it as he had been dedicating himself to peace. I meant nothing twisted or insincere.
From every Poll I have taken in TFs forum, all those that responded like this status quo better than alternatives put forward to date. From what I have heard of other CIA alliances they all seem to feel the same.
We have all surrendered in the past and many disbanded. If others are unwilling to even agree to a ceasefire put forward by, the then leader of DD why should we agree to end hostilities?
Honestly STI, I like the Status Quo now, everyone I have spoken with in CIA like this, many in COP like this. Why should we stop for a minority in COP many of whom have already joined DUNE.
