Power of your ascended account = % bonus on main?

This is a very good idea in my opinion.

This suggestion along with taking away the ability to raid resource planets, would even the game up and at the same time encourage people to actually get active on the server and start enjoying it for what it is.

people like mojo and Sinister would be uber in both servers then just because they sacrificed some in the beginning their ascended account is self suffient wich isnt a good thing ......People cant catch up at all maybe you should try fixing that problem first......

You can catch up though...

PSICOLIX is a good example of that, im sure he has said before. I dont know where he is size wise atm, but he grew very very quickly by playing the game with great strategy.

Psicolix is DD and has protection from all major players so he has an easy job......

And im not talking about catching the normal players im talking about Sinister and Mojo Rising........

He wasnt DD all the time and you shouldn't be able to catch sisnister or Mojo unless you and others can take him down. That said you do still have a valid point. There needs to be some more balancing done first but the suggestion is a good one in my eyes.

Why should you beable to catch mojo or sinister, they have been in ascended for what 18 months, ( not sure on how long its been up ) i know sinister has losts alot or resources on main from ascending, so he deserves to be where he is,

If you make the ascention count and dont mind sacrificing your main account doing it, you will give yourself a good chance, sure you'll never be number 1 but def top 50/100.

I hate all these suggestions from people for both ascended and main, to make the game easier for them and punish the people who have played for along time, and NO im not even close to being a powerful player.

The example ill use is Geisha, she has only been in the ascended server probably 8 months, ( and before anyone says but shes Omega ) she wasnt Omega when she first got into the ascended server, she wasnt even in CoP, and now shes i believe under rank 100.....You can do it, if you put the time and effort into it.

@lore Psicolix was nothing in ascension before he joined DD.....

@General chaos So if i spent the same amount of respurces they did i dont deserve to be atleast close to them?
I think i should else the only thing they did better was starting this game earlier then me......
Ascension top accounts are way to powerfull its making the server way unbalanced

Sinister has lost nothing to ascended. GenLucky lost millions of UU and trillions of naq, not Sinister. Sinister just bought the account.

Never say never. ;) But at the same time, if you want rank 1, you'll have to work hard. Really hard.

Honestly, eventually a game dies when someone grows so far ahead that no one can catch him. This is why caps are in place in many games. World of Warcraft cuts you off at level 70. Most MMORPGs cut you off at level 100. There has to be a limit, otherwise the big just keep getting bigger. This is coming from a top 10 player of ascended. I think a cap is needed at this point.

Profitterroles is a better example. He made his ascended account one of the top 30 before he even joined an alliance, let alone Omega. He's also been playing for less time that Geisha has as well.

Well a simple solution for that is upgrades get more expensive and give less boost past lets say the 30% mark.

wait why do you have access I coulda sworn you were descended and oh wait I heard from TOWER and his friends they plan on hitting you the second you undescend:o

If admin keeps changing the game, the game will die out, because all the people who have invested now quit, the ones who cried to make it change, move up, then when the newer players in a year, cannot catch up cry about it, everyone from the previous year who are now strong cry how its unfair to them to change it, thus a dead game.

Maybe admin should just pull the plug full stop and go have a vacation himself.

Also i thought there was a limit now in ascention, at a set level do things not cost like 100 fold of what they should.

I think the origional idea is a strong one. Instead of the bonuses being based on the number of times you have ascended, make it so that it is based on the strength of your ascended account. It actually makes sense logically. The stronger your ascended being the more help you can give your mortal being.

Also, people will have a choice of playing ascention or not, just that the player that does play will get stronger on main in the long run.
