Oh I so know know this is gonna rub the nods the wrong way as theres gonna be a lot of stars but meh,

******* employers in the uk suck royally, I mean its been 20 months now since graduating from uni & I've had somewhere between 20 - 30 interviews ( yes i've had so ******* many i've lost count ) and i'm still jobless.

I cant get a job round where I live as I live in the back end of nowhere with only manual labour jobs ainly recruiting all the time & I have a glass bad & dodgy hip so thats those out. As for IT stuff well they dont want to know if you cant drive & well i'm learning but it isnt easy. I've tried other places near me all to the same ******* tune of either 'you cant drive' or 'you've no experiance' winds me up the ******* wall. I swear it jsut not funny anymore. My mind feels like mush and I think i've actually lost about 100 IQ points since leaving uni.

As for the place I went to Uni at well they are all 'you dont live here' in response to my I'll move here if you give me a job or its the same no experiance cop out.

You might as well put me to bed with a ******* shovel at the moment for all the use I am, just using up air. Yeah nad slightly depressed and really really annoyed (thats putting it bloody midly believe me) about it now!

/rant over

thats what i want to do so bad. ill work for a few years to gain exp. and contacts then branch out. lucky for me accountants are pretty much in high demand at the moment and i have some connections. family, friends, friends of friends are normally the best ways to get jobs.

Moral of the story - don't go to Uni.

Yeah, that's right kids, go flip burgers at McDonalds.

No moral of the story is dont be disabled through your childhood so you cant get any work experiance. I didnt have any choice but to take the academic route. I cant stand for 8 hours or lift heavy weights. but as i'm 'cured' for a given value of 'cured' and theres now medically 'nothing wrong' so they say I dont qualify for any programs that help disabled ppl back to work or any benefit to live off while i cant get any work. The whole system is screwed over, lots of ppl like me fall through the cracks

Further moral to be derived from the story - understand sarcasm.

Seriously dude, I sincerely doubt there's a single person on this forum who can help you. It's good to vent once in a while but really, what do you expect people to say to you? :P

Here, have some ice cream. It's strawberry flavoured and real good.

No, you know what the solution to all problems is? Less thinking, more drinking! :P

No, seriously, the solution to all problems, try to take even the tinyest positive out of even the worse situations and remember that adversity will make you stronger than an easy life could ever. Drink plenty of water, do plenty of whatever excercise you're capable of, get enough sleep and spend less damn time on the internet! It'll only make you feel ugly.

But also remember, every silver lining has an angry, mean looking cloud that vaguely resembles your childhood pet after it got hit by a bus.......

well look, if the "goverment" is telling you your not disabled and that they wont give ya no money you go to your shed and get a hammer and make damn sure you dont leave till your properly disabled. then they gotta give you money!

problem solved... you can thank me with cash.
