maybe this has been said and i am an idiot for not being able to find it. it may also belong it ascended forums as well but thought i would put it here. okay so what i am talking about is i see alot of people in the game who are living god of ori or prior of whatever etc.. that are dormant which as we know means they are in vacation mode. i have no problem with people using vacation modes as there are times when you will be away on a vacation or a RL issue arises as we all have things that happen and we need to be away. but the thing i thought would be a great is that if you are in vacation in ascended you must be in vacation in main as they are both linked. this would give true meaning to the vacation option and not just a way to get some bonuses on main without running the risk of desension. you should not only need a vacation in ascended and not main and vise versa as they are forever linked good or bad. this should be debated and i encourage people to discuss it. i see no reason why you would need to be in vacation in one and not the other unless you are abusing the system. thanks

there is no rule forbidding to do this. Those who r on vacation in ascended lose half of their bonuses already, I think thats a fair cost for vacation.

weird thing is, that no1 is complaining, when some members in this war go on vacation in main, but not on ascencion. Why no1 talks about that? its the same. They dont lose any bonuses in ascended

i said that. i said if you are in vacation in one it should be for both. and i never said it was forbidden this is why i put it in the SUGGESTION section

Vacation in one should lead to vacation in the other.

If players go on vacation because they fear descention then the answer should be that at least a player that is on vacation on ascention should lose all bonuses down to the level of a descended player.

There is several heated discussions on this topic. Everyone is making it a CoP VS CIA issue but in fact its not and it needs to be discussed and dealt with.

CoP vs CIA is the reason many people are on vacation atm normally it really isnt so much most of us actually play ASC server unlike many people think.......

if this can get implimented it would make future wars more fun and costly for all sides. an alliance would have to chose its oppenents very carefully and may even make the ascended server more active as people may ascend again to prevent a future desension in a future war.

Well just to play devils advocate here, I had to go on vac mode on ascension for 4 days as I would be away, but in main I couldnt as I had been on ppt the two days previous.

I had to get another ppt and go onto crit & nox to avoid been attacked over the period I was away for. Thankfully my income was small enough to do that and not worry, but not everyones that lucky.

In that situation I was away from both games but in vac mode for only 1, what would you suggest for situations like that? After all main wouldnt let me vac mode due to a ppt

i believe that could be fixed by admin but i do not write code and know nothing about how hard it would be to fix this but maybe it would put you on vacation automatically at the 1st chance. one other thing i thought of that nobody has said but you touched on it is that some people would say they go on vacation mode in ascend but use a PPT in main. i think that is the problem with vacation mode is as i see supposed to be a way to go away for sometime and do not have to worry about being massed in either server. not a way to still get 50% of your ascended bonus yet never run the risk of losing the bonuses all together. one thing to maybe fix this problem is make a minimum and maximum time allowed to be on vacation mode. like for example if you are on vacation in one for a week it will put you in auto vacation in the other for at least a week because they are linked no reason not to be active in both. not that hard to log on every other day to ascended or main. maybe make it if you are on vacation for 2 weeks you must wait 2 weeks before returning to vacation mode. i am not a genius and have not considered every single exception to the rule. one last thing i would like to say as yes i am in DD but i just ascended and could be easily descended today tomorrow next week whatever, but the point of this is to improve the game by making people actually play and hard to argue that when you are in vacation mode it is impossible to be active and make a "game" fun as that is why we play games

What I would like to see is if you set vacation in main, you lose power in ascended. Now that would be truly fair.

I agree it should work both ways, I agree more they should be linked.

you might have enough time to play one, but not both servers

vacations aren't made just for pure vacations, but also for the time you are busy (either school,work, or something else...)

Vacation on one server needs to translate into vacation on another. In the beginning this thread was mixed in with the current war. Now that the war is over there are still many accounts in vacation mode on the ascended server, and not on the main server.

Now that most large hostilities are over, can there be a true debate weighing the pros and cons of this suggestion?

It is a suggestion that makes a lot of sense but for some reason doesn't get a lot of popular support. Maybe the guys that don't have time to play ascention have lots of time to post on the forum!!!!
