Would stop abuse of races in PPt, had a talk with some replis they think its a good idea. disscuss and see what forum says

i REALLY THINK that this is a good idea, it prevents ppl abuseing the PPT spy lvs (for the most part)

also stop people useing gould income bonus...tauri and asguard dont really matter lol

Why would you change races?
Further more, why would you want to change again after or before seven days?

popel buy ppt, go gould for 1 and a half days then go repli to take advantage of the cheap spy levels.

I've suggested this before... didn't really get much of a response.

Personally i'd want it to be more like a month... or two weeks at the least...

But any sort of limit is good, I guess.

The ascended races are a good starting point to stop race-changing. If you're one of those, you're losing your accumulated bonuses if you change. Not a good idea I guess. So, I don't care much if its left in there for the non-ascended, gives them some extra options on their road to ascension.

In my opnion if someone wanted to change race they should start over again.

No because it would make a lot of people mad and quit this game hence ruining it.

I would agree on at least 3 weeks of no race change but that wouldn't stop the problem. You see they can build up money in lets say 2 to 3 weeks period to receive the spy levels once they switch to replicators from goa'ulds but then after the timelimit is over they would simply change race then go on ppt and then ascend.

The only solution would be, if you change from replicators to any other race you would lose 5-10 spy levels. So this way people can't abused the spy level thing because they would risk losing everything they worked for.

Thats just stupid. maybe 1 level AT MOST, but not something stupid like 5-10. If you did taht, you would be hurting REAL replicator players who have been repli for so long, and want to try something different.
The same thing would have to be applied to ALL races to stop constant race changing. So if you loose 5 levels, it would have to be by changing from ANY race to ANY other race, to be fair and all

Replicators are not the only abused race anyway. The goaulds power is abused quite often by people in ppt.

Losing 5 spylevels is the same as losing all spylevels. If you could afford level 20, level 15 is a laugh. Remember, the cost of your last spylevel is 1/2 of the total naq you have spent on spylevels.

1 level: 1/2
2 levels: 3/4
3 levels: 7/8
4 levels: 15/16
5 levels: 31/32

So losing 5 spylevels is like losing 31/32 of every last bit of naq you invested in spylevels, so you might as well lose the last of it. That said, I think it's a stupid idea to implement such a rule. As I mentioned earlier, switching only works for the pre-ascension races, and it's a strategy that all can use, so I see no reason to limit it.

Brilliant Idea. but make it longer than a week or have race changes where you lose everything, it would be like starting from scratch

A better idea - how about makig it so that you can change race a total of 5 times per account?

That way, each race could be tried and then you can go back to the one you prefer - would definately stop the abuse of the game.

hows that going to help. people will just stay as a race for a little while longer to reap the benefits, it wouldn't change much.
