So why are you still playing the game?

Well seeing that there is so much flaming and hate in here and seeing how the forums have been going downhill and how people only seem to be frustrated, I have been asking myself that question quite often recently.

The answer is quite simple: the community (not some numbers on the screen). As long as there are still people around who make this community fun, it's still worth it Just to make a positive thread for a change, I will name a few of those who make me stick around:

GeneralChaos - for being a good friend and the one to introduce me to the drug that SGW is
RobinInDaHood - for his wicked sense of humour and being a great friend to talk to
RepliJake - for so many reasons
Huxley - because saving his ass has always been fun...
buck - for being buck (there's no words to describe that)
David Hasselhoff - for being the hoff
EnterTheLion - for his great commitment to the community and his sense of humour
S T I - because his posts are always constructive, respectful and actually make sense
Bad Wolf - for saying what he thinks in a most refreshing way
REK - for being the SGW pimp and the most sympathetic spammer ever
EliteAceMan - for still making me feel bad about leaving DD
GenLucky - for eventually (you know you want to) returning to the game to give me that spanking he promised
High Empty - for being a dirty little weirdo
All of Omega - for being awesome
The Mod Team - for all the effort they are putting into this community
My enemies - for sending me pms that are cracking me up
Everyone who's making me laugh - for making me laugh

Pretty sure I forgot 99% of the reasons I'm still playing... but hey who reads too long posts anyway...

So why are you still playing?

I'm not

But I think that the answer to why I am still on this forum is equally valid.

erm i stay around to talk to my friends in SGW's

Huxley - got to say 1 of my best mates in the game
Bex - she as always been there for me
Frazz - you dont want to no why
The Shadow - just a cool guy who i trust more than anyone in this game.

and to talk to the rest of my friends

there are other reason but cant be bothered go into them

The EPA has been a great family and source of support over the last year for me. I don't post here much but I love reading everyones post. SO i guess everyone keeps me playing.

Same here TL got me into this game and helped me back on the right track after i almost quitted and there are alot of other people i talk to just to have some fun but i must say the war is boring i dont even think about it anymore

I stay in this game for many reasons, but mainly for the people.

They make the game what it is for me anyway.

I play mostly for my REAL friends..

I play to play the game as it is. It changes I change . My most enjoyment comes when I talk to new people in the game thats what makes it fun. meeting new people.

I play for the distraction for work. I do not really play for the people because I have this complex where I do not consider internet people to be REAL people. Fun stuff.

so I take it your playing with bots lol , my wife says complex thats the most retarded word ever. that word sounds racist, thats why I cant stand it.

I play mainly for my friends and my alliance.

To name a few:

sub_zero, Robe, Bad Wolf, Holdfast, Grimgor, darlec1974, Oumar, Ossetian, Sha_Ark, Acronon, Mågius, Lore, Lorien, JedimasterX, Elven Archer, TC, dundee etc.

+ CiA HC and the rest of CIA and especially BWP/BWB of course.

I probably forgot a few, sorry ..
