I would have done the same, all it takes is a kind message or a change in your playing style to not get farmed.

i would have hit back with all i oculd have mustered.
if it happened to me (and i was the 10mill guy) i would have respected his stance of not being pushed around

if it was my officer, I probably would have stepped in before he felt he needed to take a planet. That being said, I would just go mass the 10 mil army guy. Tit for tat.

lol how funny since I do it just today with some one who now has 650k army and I have 10 mil army (ok 10.4 mil but if u see the point 
)...
anyway, ur officer should know that messing with guys 15 times bigger than him is very dangerous...it'll at least teach him a lesson...
and no I didn't mass without reason that guy but reasons were very similiar to these too and I also sent message to someone after massing him just the guy was farming me, not the other way arround

It shure is a legit reason. Massing if someone takes your planet. I'd mass him, take my planet back and if he'd complain any i'd sit on him for a while. But that's just me

Yeah half isnt worth it,if you do something do it 100%,not 50%,everyone can confirm that.
If someone would take my planet i would mass him probably for that

i suppose it depends, if the planet had a
TON of defences on it and the prior farming didnt cover it then
MABYE it would be a legit reson to mass.
i usually just play planet tennis for a while if its one i really want then if he wont quit i show him someone with a tonne of up planets and he leaves me alone

LOL. What i'd say so him:
Well if you don't like being farmed, ask. If he won't stop, try defence. If that doesn't help, then get someone else to threaten. I'd never take a planet really, because then he will do stuff like this..
Anyways, i've spoken to him, and he'll stop farming your officer. But you'll have to leave it be, cos the guy who did it is RL friend.

If my suggestion were implemented, this would be an entirely different question. It wouldn't be about wether it is right to mass over a planet, but wether it's wise to mass over a planet. Even if the guy is 15 times your officer's size and 3 times your size,
you could still mass away his defense and allow your officer to go at his miners/lifers. He'd have to really like his planet to risk that.
