When I find a planet it, usually, has a name like "protected by my CO/some big player" and I would be willing to bet that half the time they werent actually protected by said person.

My problem is that I dont want someone to see the planet, think hey I wonder if that guy is actually protected by "whatever person" contact them and then in a fit of rage have them mass me because they think I was using there name.

So, in the first 12 hours where you cant rename a planet could there be some indication that you just found it?

Just a thought, what do you think?

just rename another planet saying, 'planet below was just taken'
actually, i dont think you can actually see a planet someone took untill the 24hrs is up

You can see them just not steal them, they show up on the screen but not on the choices to steal. Found and taken the same.

Probably would be nice if those Found you can change names on.

But, honestly the whole no name change thing was to counter the Planet Pirates, now that they can be beaconed do we really still need it?
