To Any Interested Parties,

DD/D12 (Dirty Dozen) has officially resigned its position within CoP.
Not fully because of the war but primarly because of our team itself.
DD has had a long history with our allies in CoP dating back to the GA. In several instances individuals between CoP alliances have history dating back to the creation of this game.
It saddens us to leave our brethren especially in questionable times like these. However DD as a team needs this to rediscover themselves based on what we were initially founded on.
Working within our team with each other to become more than we are is and has been the DD way for a long time. As of late we have grown astray from who we are but are determined to once again discover that within ourselves. DD will move forward alone as a solo team once again discovering and bringing back the focus to our team.
DD sincerely wishes that this ceasefire leads to a resolve of issues between the parties involved. However if it does not DD understands they were part of CoP while this war was engaged and if hostilities arise towards DD we will rejoin the fight even though we are now a Solo Team again. If anyone would like to contact DD about any issue or the impact of DD parting from CoP and how this affects CoP Alliances, CiA Alliances, or your Neutral Alliance you are welcome to contact us via our forums http://www.dirty-dozen.org or via in-game PM system.


Only CoP/CIA actual ingame leaders post here please.

It is sad to see you go, You and your Alliance are very formidable and Honorable foes.

Does this include D12? I honestly do not know the internal workings of DD/D12.

DD/D12 are one and the same so yes this announcement includes D12.

This is truly a momentous event... but whether I should laugh or cry, I can't make certain. It's an honourable move, with an honourable motive, so, I am glad and happy this decision was made. It's a shame such a great group (CoP) would be broken... which makes me a little sad.


KGB hereby officially announces that any and all vengeances or leftover thoughts of war towards DD/D12 will be buried. On a 'let them fire the first shot' stance, KGB will not attack any DD/D12 targets should the war rekindle. That said, of course we will react when attacked, so as not to disrespect our challenger.
We will give DD/D12 the room it needs to maneuver in order to rediscover themselves.

Why is this moved out of GC ......its a pretty big annoucnement and it has to do directly with an on-going war, involves hundreds of players.........doesn't seem very general to me

The Foundation wishes DD god speed on their new journey of self discovery.

DD are indeed a formidable Alliance who have earned the respect of many throughout the Galaxy.

In behalf of The Foundation i congratulate Dirty Dozen & D12 on a great fight. It was fun full of respect and a great time. We hope Dirty Dozen finds their way in the galaxy of Stargatewars without CoP

With all due respect (which is more than you gave me), no it doesn't. It indirectly has to do with a ceasefire, but it directly has to do with major game power and politics. Hense it's in general. As I said, I left a shadow topic so that those in the Gal Col could find and read it, however, the thread itself doesn't belong in the Gal Col. You can link to it in the CiA/CoP thread if you'd like, but it doesn't belong there.

I would like to congratulate DD on fighting with honor and valor during our time together in COP; your friendship will not be forgotten.

I would like to furthermore publicly state that with the parting of DD from COP, COP is no more. COP was only ever Omega/Alpha, DD/D12, and DDE/DD2, without one we are nothing more than mutual allies and not a super alliance.

DD have my utmost respect as past allies and current friends.
