Mothership suport

It will be more interesting if we could send our motherships to support a certain player in battle.
Then if i send my mothership on suport of a player it will not help him with the ranks just defend and that's all offcourse if that players is ataked you will have damage to your mothership too
Thing about it it is a great ideea , coz in that way the alliances could realy help there members

I like it, it might cost you some turns to send it, and cost you one turn, for each turn it stayed helping (so you would get only 2 turns each turn)
plus i think we could add more, and diffrent sorts of weapons to MS...

It is prone to abuse IMAO. Imagine 10 players massing your MS.

and it is not about massing motherships , it is about suport other player with your mothership(':!:')

Id say 2 turns tops. Too many more and like was said, it would be abused. Plus, 2 turns should be more than enough.

Why not twenty four hours. The button for sending your MS to explore is changed to "Send your Mothership Abroad" with the options:
1) Search for a planet
2) Aid an ally (Players must mutually be set to peace) Insert ID: [___]
*Note: All missions last for twenty four hours.

Putting it like that, it would make more sense. Because of "distance traveled" and such.

Hadn't thought of that. In "support" missions, it could take 3 turns (an hour and a half) to transfer to an allied realm, 42 turns (21 hours) to perform guard duty and MS patrols, and another 3 turns to return home.

Maybe, but I think the minimum should be 24 hours.

its a good idea
minimum hours 24 reason : distance travelled.
another thing is can only aid the id once or twice per week. but you can do multiple of them ... just not at the same time.

that might make some sense. but the number of motherships supporting a player at a given turn should be limited as well.

WOOOW ppl i did not aspec so many ideeas but this think is good coz there we can actualy corect the advantage or disadvantage that one or the othe player got
my atualy ideea was just to cost you a turn to send in suport (def only) and another turn to recall home , the time that can be let in suport can be forever if you aford that (sorry about my english) but hey any ideea is welcome , infact you guys are doing a great job by debating this part
