Serbia one. Gotta love how countries vote in blocks, Russia gets so many 12 point score no matter how good they are simple for being the big neighbour lol

The worst kind of music, it's like pop, but further along that path, its more about the idea of the music rather than the actual song, they're all corny at quite frankly it hurts to watch them. Then of course the voting is done by countries so you get all the nordic countries voting for each other etc, so you wont always get the right result.

Irelands won it 7 times lol A record! We are the Brazil of the Eurovision. However our recent years have been terrible do to reality pop shows making the entrants.

Basically each country puts in whatever is popular in it. Rock has become bigger in recent years. While others just take the pisss, like Britain who are always rubbish just like Ireland.

No Russia gets so many 12 point's because russians are the ethnic minority in surrounding country's.

Sure. It just happen the nordics stick together, the balkans stick together, the russian satelite states all stick together. The growth of the competition has ruled out western europe ever winning it again.

What are russian satellite states? There is only one country in eurovision what may refer as russian satellite(Belorussia). Satellite states were a cold war term to those countries who were under USSR influence.

Most former satellites and USSR members are not under Russian influence, so you can not refer them as a russian satellite states.

You are right about sticking together. This contest contains politics, good realizations with neighbors, show and then songs. One thing is certain you will win only if you have at least 2 conditions right.

by satelite state i just meant those around russia. every country that borders it gave it good scores.

yeah poor israel, no neighbours. if they are in it why not lebenon? they are closer after all.
