Hey

By what formula is attack added to ground attack from MS calculated?

I mean, how do i know how much MS will add to my troops, i know they are diffrent situations, depending on the enemies MS, but still, how is it calculated?

thanks for help

taken from the help/rules link ingame

If both sides have a mothership, the amount added is: Your mothership offence minus their mothership defence minus their mothership offence. In all cases your mothership will use its weapons to destroy first their mothership shields, then their mothership weapons, and finally - if you have any mothership attack left - it will add to your troops attack or defence

So when does my MS add to my defense (if the attacker doesn't have MS). When I attack ppl sometimes their MSs add, sometimes (mostly) they don't. :?

When attacker doesn't have MS or when your MS destroyed sheilds, volleys and still have power to add on ground troops.

Aye, same formulae for attack and defense.
If your M/S beats their M/S's shields and weapons with strength left over (regardless who was the attacker), that extra strength will be added to your ground troops.

Of course, you really have to have a cheap M/S to worry about your opponent getting anywhere close to the +100% cap (iirc), but then the same holds true for your ship.
