Rotating Planet Names

I've been rotating my planet names to foil would-be aggressors. Do you think it's worthwhile? I suppose there's always the chance one of my decent planet's will get stolen by mistake...

Sure, I used the same name tactic before it was fixed... but name rotation?

I personally wouldn't bother, just load a bunch of warnings and protected by X (where you actually have a protection pact with X
) on them.
Unless your rotating the names every four minutes (about the time it takes for me to get a good recon and launch the assault)... I can't see it being terribly effective.
Still, if you've got the time, I don't see how it could hurt... <_<

Anyone who wants to steal decent planets should simply spy their prey.
Anyone who wants to prevent that, better buy a planet defense. Or a major covert.

There is no safe planet def and no covert that cant be spied. Even rank 1 covert can be spied on.

Aye,
Really, with planets... (imho) don't invest much...and don't expect much.
Use them, and expect to lose them - trying to woo them with massive defenses and ridiculous covert only spells disappointment.

or both... first covert makes it hard to find stats, then defenses make it uninteresting to take...
EDIT: there is one defense that is pretty much unbeatable... completely filled up large planet...
only problem is that total cost for that much defenses when building up from tiny planet is 58 888 900 000 000 naq... (approximately 59 trillion naq)
but then, 1 million defenses would make it ok to build any production on planet... including 200k up... and it wouldnt be stolen anytime soon...
