Hey

Well first of all I would like to say, that this is not going on anyone special it is general discussion (that's why i've putted it into SGW General). but i've seen people doing it many times, and i just found it silly

When troubles arrive, many, and i mean MANY people start with: "Heh, you n00b, you don't wana mass me, i will send XXXXX, to mass your ass" , and by XXXXX i mean some top ranked player, or an imaginary friend

What do you think about it. I really think it's a simple show of how weak you are, thinking you are important becouse you know someone who is actually important. I mean,.. ..., it's cool that commanders protect their officers, but in other cases...

Well i think this, "I am protected by" thing, is going too far. What do you think?

If they actually are protected by big players then its all well and good.

However, most of the time it's just noobs spouting off at the mouth, and the big players probably wouldn't approve of their names being thrown around.

Yes, it's going to far. Yet I'am not sure, I hate it when people do that but I know I protect some smaller players and I tell them to say that lmao.

i COULD send messages like that, my mate will mass for cookies
but i dont cause:
1) its just ASKING for an even more severe massing
2) noone really attacks me much
3) a couple of hits doesnt bother me i just increace my defence
4) im not that much of a noob
5) i would hate to be that much of a noob
6) if i ever do send that kind of a message, please mass me cause i'd deserve it

Just message the "XXXX" and see if they will actually protect the guy. If they guy is lying, you might be able to get "XXXX" to join in on a massing

I find it funny when I get those messages and read the forum threads. Having funin one of those threads right now as it happens

My usual response to a message like that is instant massing

I recently came across a fossil, that told me he would muster the full force of ESKER Alliance to whip my behind, because I was insulting a God. Somewhat amusing. I of course informed him kindly to reassess that statement, which he apparently did. Haven't heard from him since.

And to think all I did was steal some naq... a few times... at sequencing turn changes... and when he suddenly had some in between. meh.


I thought it was funny, since we'd just been talking about ESKER somewhere on the forums or on MSN.

If i would get a buck(not our buck lol ) for every message like that i would be a trilionar.Like i was raiding,raided one n00b,he instantly messaged me to return the uu that i raided.If he would have a def then its ok but his forces inflicted like devastating 3 damage ........

He said i should return the uu coz he is raiding for the top 100 guy.......like LMAO......and what does rank mean in these days.
Seriously i dont have the time to go and ask each strong player if the n00b is under his protection,i rather leave him alone or farm or raid sometimes later,it really isnt worth the time

Even more interestin would be, "I know someone who knows someone who knows player A actually ranked top 20".
