Ok since they pergatory update thing my allaince leader sent me a message asking me to message my Officer to tell them to put in an application for the alliance. So i got and click on his name and it takes me to his page. Unfortunatly, he went into pergatory and therefore all of the attack and relationship and message buttons are gone. I was thinking that maybe admin could just put in the send message and the relationship settings maybe..but atleast the Send Message button so that you can contact your officers, etc.

Maybe make a VERY expensive technology of it...
SGC wasn't capable of communicating with the Other Realm either.


As for the current situation... KGB's contact with the Purgatory Wing is maintained through MSN and our forums... I realise you won't have forums for contacting your officer. (=thinks about making mass communications forums=)
MSN should prove effective. Ingame PM is rather primitive anyways.

make it possible for ALLIANCE LEADERS

to send them a message individually if needed

(and make them seen mass pms) not sure if they do or dont


BUT i think commanders should be able to send messages to officers in perg as well................

Aye... but it *does* have to have some negative side effects, don't it. This makes it less permanent, forces people to get *out* of their hideout once in a while.

alliance leaders and commanders should be able to contact members to inform them of important things via ingame if needed

I am quite able of sending messages into Purgatory!

The only thing is that you need a message from the person you want to send a message to, and click "Reply". Probably works both ways.


It's a decent practical workaround until it's fixed...

rofl ya well if i had a message from him i would..and i dont think he even know the forums much less goes on there..and dont have TV so didn't see that whole couldn't communicate episode..unless your talkign about Atlantis season 2 with the sanctuary place where the asgards were ascending..and they couldn't communicate..though the ppl that went in couldn't come back out either ROFL....ok anyways what im saying is that there should be a button put into the Officers page (u know click from your base) that has a button for sending messages

It would be good if you could communicate with ppl in/from pergatory, however I believe this is why admin did this - to make it difficult and eventually force ppl out.

Perhaps if there was limited communication (ie only between officers/commanders/alliance leaders) or if the communication were to cost something (eg 100mill naq per message)?

i do not think it should be enabled, it would make game unrealistic... in SG they could not comunicate...

btw, i would think about what kind of officers i have, if they change realm without contacting me first...
