is been harrassing one of our applicants in real life, by phone and mail etc.. because his CO at that time told him to raise his UP and because of that the officer Piegod got pissed of and started to harrass the player.

I allready adviced the player to go to the police, but this kind of behaviour because of a game should be punished ingame also

mmm i would have to agree with that seeing as it is one of the rules to not bring personal issue's or to even take this game so personal for that matter...anyone who takes it as personal is the guy your talking about mustn't have much left to do with his life but *modded* about a game. But your not the one being harrassed so i would get the guy your talking about to make a complaint so then Admin know that it IS actually an issue for that individual.

the girl did send a mail to admin a few minutes ago, and she also did file a complaint at the police allready, she isn't able to create an account on the forum because of errormessages wich i'm trying to figger out

what is the id of the guy that is bothering her?

I'm really dubious at the idea of punishing people in-game for things which may or may not have happened in real life.. the reason being that there's no way the validity of such claims can be verified.

I'm not calling you a liar, or challenging your story, but there's no real way it can be confirmed, is there? What's to stop me simply coming here and claiming I was harassed by such and such a player, then asking they be banned?

This is a can of worms probably best left unopened.

first of all, it's not the first time the guy did it, it happened also via the pmsystem ingame, the pms have also been sent to admin...

I just posted it here because the guy also started to call her because of the game... some people are just sick

If she filed a police report then I think she could provide Admin with that, but innocent until proven guilty. At least that is how it is to be, so until a judge says that the actions of the person are illegal I don't think anything should be done. Just my two cents. If the guy continues to annoy her, send her back to the police to report every incident.

hmmm i'd have to agree on that one, but if this guy has done it INGAME then that is pretty much enough there anyway, Admin has made it clear about his zero tolerence policy about harrasment and childish name calling so if he's done either to a point where it [spacey edit out] Admin off then you know he's gone TO far.

Come_Forth strikes from the grave with a crap account He still has a little strike left because people are doing recons so there is too much covert against him to finish it fully. Some supers are left as well since I ran out of turns, but his army size is down to almost nothing.

How scary.... looks like i missed the action already

biohazzard is a reputable source to hear this from, but I question the actions of those here. I wonder if it's 'right' for a group of people to take things into their own hands when, given the information that exists in this thread, one cannot determine what exactly happened.

Has the accused posted here trying to give an account of the situation? Are the actions of a few based on accounts/interpretations of pple not directly involved?

It's like shoot first and ask questions later. For the sake of discussion, what happens if the accused did none of these things?

I attempt to make no spin on the situation or take anything away for a victim, but:
Do they know each other in real life? If not, how was personal info obtained? Why was personal info given out?

Perhaps I have become a cynic from recent scams on the forum, but please think about what you are doing and what you have in front of you before you make hasty decisions.

If the accused is innocent those who have attacked have become the bullies and everything they are fighting against.

No reason is needed for me to destroy the account. I trust biohazard.

I make no statement as to the creditability of biohazzard. In fact I say in my first post that he is a reputable source.

My point is, as the information is laid out here, no one person can safely conclude anything.

You must agree that this is an account form a third party without equal representation from both sides, yes/no?

Is it possible to argue that trust is enough to destroy an account without hearing from the person? There is a lot of talk about law and policing, but where is due process?

I would encourage everyone to show respect, even to enemies, if one should do them harm. I would argue that the longer you spend in the lion's lair, to more like the lion you become.

This is a war game, I trust that biohazard is correct in his judgement. I do not need due process to mass. If biohazard says that he was acting like a jerk then that is reason enough to bring my account from the grave to have a little fun. If he turns out to be innocent I might return the half of his army that I destroyed.
