This is apparently a bannable offence tetris.

Don't worry, the mods will find a rule for it to violate.

In favour of bringing back Tok'ra.

Reasons: Interesting character, not as bad as the management make him out (as I see it - no mal-intent intended), creates thought provoking post, almost usually has a valid point (wether you like it or not) and takes it all on the chin most of the time.

Social glue, sometimes smelly, but sticks it all together.

Well, I think Tok'ra could come back...

He certainally has the willpower to "hold back" on his comments..

But the SPAM would have to go..

And yeah TM it is kind of against the rules.. Don't get yourself suspended

From a Mod Perspective:

Tok'ra was warned repeatedly for his actions on the forums, however, the mod team continued to give him more and more chances. Agapooka talked to tok'ra and gave him one more final chance. He agreed to do the following things:

# follow all the rules without any exceptions
# stop bragging about breaking rules
# respect mod warnings
# help rebuild the atmosphere he ruined


and what did he do instead?

# posted links to porn (and some child porn images)
# continued to slander and insult community members
# continued to disrespect moderators both in public and in pm
# posted forum member's IP addresses publically (when we all know there are hackers within the sgw community).

His promises to Pookie were made mid April, he was banned the beginning of May. He was given a fair chance to change.

And if you're truly serious about bringing Tok'ra back, maybe you should wait AT LEAST a month before petitioning to let him back in. I mean, god, the dust hasn't even settled yet.

I'm sorry, but Tok'ra has been given more than his share of chances. He blew every single one of them.

You've questioned the validity of a ban that was supported and endorsed by 99% of the mods and all of the active admins.

Maybe he has, maybe he hasnt done what he has been accused of, so far ive only actually seen 0 proof of any of this, and if it is to be truth of what admins and mods speak of, then show us a little of this proof.

I could link you to every thread he broke rules in, but unfortunately, you don't have the permissions to see them, that's because we REMOVE that kind of stuff.

We don't go "oh look, he posted a pornagraphic photo of a little boy. Now, I'll just warn him and leave the link for all the underage kids to see and the authorities to find just so that the rest of the forum can see that he actually posted it".


C'mon now, you're just being silly. Of course you can't find evidence. The only posts of his left are the ones that were fit for viewing.

Ask the people who were tricked into clicking **Filtered** links, who opened a thread to see themselves insulted, who thought they were going to read civil threads and found child porn, or who opened a thread to see their IP listed for everyone to see if they want Tok'ra back.

I won't be surprised when they say no. They're the ones who came to US and pointed this stuff out and asked for his ban.

We were more than justified, and claiming otherwise is what has you breaking forum rules.

Well the mods banned him and your wanting to disagree with them which is against the rules..

I have seen his childish comments at times and although he may think they are just jokes but to MANY others they are direct attacks. He has been banned and brought back before and then he did it again, it's as simple as this, he's out...so now he can stay out. No one wants to here what he has to say and to be perfectly honest, i don't think anyone actually gives a crap what he has to say either.

So long Tok'ra, hope we never see your childish comments again.

he's been banned twice for VERY valid reasons, which I'm not allowed to go into on this forum. If you'd like a summary of the charges, look on the hall of shame thread.

You know, if you disagree with a mod/admin decision, you take it up privately, so yes, this IS in the breach of the rules.

As for this thread, and its author, Tetrismonkey, asking for proof of what he did, I have 3 things to say:

1. Are you questioning my and the mod team's integrity? You are in fact saying that I lied or would consider lying to the community, and I'll have none of it.

2. As mentioned earlier, most of the posts exhibiting Tok`ra's bannable behaviour were too vulgar/spammy and littered the public areas. We called in the garbage truck, for the city started to smell...

3. This is the internet. Proof? Well, regardless, we actually do have proof, but no matter what I say, what I say is my testimony, and you've made it clear that you don't trust the administration. You're free to leave this forum. I'm not sure if you're free to stay.

as rienna and agappoka allready stated the mod/admin oppinion ill vouch the player oppinion. Imagine youre a 13 year old kid (no i'm not) comming to this forum and you see a link you think is of interest. you click it and find childporn or other vulgure images how would you respond? We were asked many times to ban tok'ra but we gave him more chances. When he broke agapooka's final chance he got banned (god bless agapooka) he deserved the permanent ban and i dont fell any need to let him get unbanned from this forum
