Even through the darkest days..(RP)

The darkness stretched endlessly, it seemed. Yet the fleet pressed on. His mothership in the very center of his fleet, Setesh stood on the bridge of his ship, looking through the resistant glass as his forces trekked farther into unknown territory.
Looking around, Setesh noticed the beauty of things he'd never noticed before, the slight anomalies in stars, the constant twinkling of distant suns, everything. Even as he watched the beauty, he wished he could destroy it. Suddenly, the titanium doors etched along the glass slammed shut as an alarm sounded throughout the ship. Turning around furiously, Setesh retook his seat in the center of the control room, and turned to his first prime, demanding to know what had transpired
Xarik(First Prime): Our scouts that we've sent further ahead indicate a large fleet dropping out of hyperspace two parsecs up. We thought it was a coincidence, but other sources have told us that not only are they dropping in front of us, but behind us and around us as well.
Cursing his luck, Setesh rose from his seat, his cloak flashing as he pulled up his hood, and armed his hand device. For some reason, he had the feeling that he needed to be back..there..
Turning on his heel, Setesh, now escorted by two Setii guards, walked back into the control room, where Xarik informed him he had an incoming message
Setesh: Patch it through. Now.
As Setesh spoke, a hyperspace window opened in front of him, and an immense mothership, larger than any in his fleet, than any he'd ever seen, dropped from the bend in space
Suddenly, as Setesh's fleet powered up their shields, the communications window shot up on the glass, the doors having retracted. A relaxed look replaced the look of worry on his face, and he visibly was less tense
Anubis: Kel, Lord Setesh. Long has it been since I have seen you, brother.
To be continued...by Ancient Anubis, if he so pleases ![/b]
