attack buttons missing?

i was raiding a guy then the turn changes and i get the usual lag.
so im forced to log back in again and then when i got to resume my raiding of the person, the raid button is not there nemore. all i can do is declare relations, send a message or spy. it only seems to be for this particular player.
ne ideas whats happened here?

It wouldn't be a realm change, you can't message/spy/relation/atk them at all.
Hell, you can't even click their name.

What happens if you search for them by ID though?

Their name shows up in the battlefield page unbolded and it is not linked to their base page. The only way to see the base page of a player in a different realm is to click to him/her from his/her commander/officer.
