New Community Site

StarGateWarriors.com - the official StarGateWars Community Run Site (SGW CRS)
this is a pre-view. the official will be laucnhed sometime soon.
question.answer:
1) its not the sgw forum
2) it is independent of sgw
3) yes, you can call it a fan site
4) no - there is no 'integration' between the 2....
5) we do not want to monopolize any community -this is for you. want something outisde sgw -here it is.
6) yes. exaclty.
7) more official annouace soon. take your place before they get filled

There is no advantage to posting there, just like there isnt really an advantage to posting here, i infact, post in both...Actually, i post in many forums, there is no advantage to them, except for perhaps the valuable networking of people, the only difference i feel there is, is the comunity run site is slightly more lighthearted, and of course, with it being run by former mods, there is little chance of them screwing up , which makes it all the more speshul

The new forum seems to be a lot of fun. I've noticed a lot more human interaction, and a few people are a lot more relaxed there than on here where they are expected to be "heavies." It's obvious that it isn't meant to replace this main forum - just supplement it.

My, my, how the rumors fly. The new site is definitely not in beta, it is live, kicking, and pimpin'.

It's just a site for the community, by the community and not a replacement for the SGW forums, which I intend to continue to frequent.
Like any website, it is always a work in progress and submissions for news, articles, and relevant information is not only accepted from the community, it is warmly received. We want this to be a place that can be fun, informative, and useful to everyone with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. For the open house, we are having a big tent event with roller coasters, ballons, a live mime dartboard, and pony rides for the kids. It should be a great time for all.
I hope you will take a few minutes, register, and join. We certainly look forward to seeing you around.

i will register and be active,as soon as u get rid of people that insult..even there...but anyway..nice job guys. if u remoe that problem,it's amazingly good.
