mhmmm.... anything USEFUL to add to this?
Personally, I found that it couldn't find any posts. Nothing. Nada. Searched even by poster, and it STILL found nothing... *coughs* that sounds buggy to me.
But "search function blows" really says nothing. At all. In fact, it's kinda pointless.

I believe that that is due to some post-install things that were not done. Lemme checkz0rz.
And then annoy admin about it on Wednesday.

Last time I tried my hand at a resync of the search index, it went on for like 4 hours and eventually my laptop just crashed anyways, as it does when left unattended for hours.
I'll try a resync before I leave for school tomorrow and leave it on all day
