returns from raiding

how much is the average return from someone with 35k UU out, wat about 45k and 50k UU?

As I said on IRC:
Don't bother with 35K, or 40K
You see, unless you are getting better than the black-market exchange rate, you are wasting turns. An acceptable, no defense raid target has 50-60K UU - with an avreage of 1.1K UU per 15 at. (Remember to stop raiding once you've taken a few K, as the average will drop)
In absolute answer to your question:
I'd say about 600 for 35K, 700-900 for 40K 1K-1.4K 50K

It is better to search longer and find someone with 50k or over.

In order to make raiding more worthwhile than buying UU off the market one must get at least 38.3UU per 1 Turn raid. That is, 575UU per 15 turns.
Example:
Black market rates of UU are 600mil/k
Black market rates of turns are 23bil/k
At 38.3UU per 1 turn raid, with 10,000 turns you can raid 383,333UU. This will cost you 230bil naq.
230bil naq will buy you 383,333UU on the black market (230,000,000,000/60,000,000,000 * 100,000).
However, it's very easy to get a better rate than this at raiding, so I wouldn't advise raiding at as low a rate as 575 per 15 turns. Personally, I raid at 850 per 15 turns.
