DD - Is an alliance that tries to pursue diplomatic relations first but many know they have a hidden power and are generally classed as good guys (In my eyes anyway)

Team Bono - Super big defenses

have to agree with team bono though i didnt even bother to spy on them, i think there goals r to all have high defences

The Legion - alliance of good and loyal friends, a family, supports and defends each other and never afraid to oppose anyone. TL has it's principles etc but is not one of those damn dictatorships, who isn't tired of those alliances.

Omega - An feared alliance of warmongers, a family who wont have anyone tell them what to do.

Alpha Allegiance - Often mistaken for 'just omega training alliance' but rest assured, these guys can take care of themselves and don't need help from Omega to do anything.

The Order - Extremely loyal bunch of guys, quiet and seam to think before they act - these guys can hit you hard when they have to but seam diplomatic and good bunch of guys.

AK - A family and a group of friends with a good sense of humor. Some say they would be stupid while others would say they've got balls; Courage is what AK has.
Honest and are not afraid to express their opinions, even if it means trouble. They will always stand up for what they believe in. If they say something they mean it. Unless they are joking.

DD - An alliance that seeks peace, will make connections to ensure peace but if needed will wage war

D12 - An alliance via which you may become DD but practically the same alliance as DD. I think about DD when I think about them (now that they have renamed in DD2 even more)

DDE - warmongery alliance of XYZ ppl meaning I dont see them as alliance who has some stirct measurements...to get into...they like war but and REK is quite an established figurehead when you think about them. They kind of really give you the feeling of a dark side lol

DDII - jedimasterX comes to my mind...they are perhaps even more warmongery again the same thing...dont seem to have strict how to come in rules

TL - Playing their Role of Romans, the most funny wacky, free-minded alliance I have ever been in. Alliance of friends playing together creating their own gameplay which they believe is fair...and to ensure it they back it up with a 57mils of an average army size per member.Their simbol of an EYE with a name in it makes it recognisible

OMEGA - Probably the most known alliance with a lot of history behind it, wanting to rule the game indirectly but at the same time they care for their members with great care. They once presented elite now they are searching themselves within these new ERA. Most of the time they want to prove themselves to SGW society by waging wars...
Omega simbolj of course. ETL used to be the ikon of it...now it is slowly fading...

Alpha - In the past always thought as an alliance from where you can get in omega...then names like piano,dark-bahamut...and some omegan members that came in it put the name ALPHA up front...no longer being in the shadows of their brothers in omega.

TO - If DD is a peaceful alliance TO is a peace SEEKING alliance...they will try to avoid wars for all cost...they have however proved they can fight...

TO division1 - affairs like the one with rienna have encarved them as an alliance with a dark history or at least unfortunate one...Big defences for their side

EPA- once I saw all good in them...but with some afairs...and them loosing on size-"importnace" they have become a normal alliance in my eyes...then the incident from COP war with them when they were in EPAC make them looked betrailed...almost like a woman who was just used and then dumped...
the recent COP - CIA war regain some of that pride they lost in the fight with omega...they are regaining the role fo good in my eyes
Earth like symbol is quite familiar
- in the past seen as the good guys, now slowly getting back that role

P.S. I hope noone is insulted...these are just my thoughts when I think about the alliance

If there was a choice for DD, on voting whether it was a peaceful alliance, or more war-like.
Id have to say its about in the middle.

Neutral.

Omega - Still feared, they can blow you away in war but will grow extremely quick.

Alpha - Definately not the training alliance of Omega, Alpha can take care of themselfs.

DDE - WARMONGERS But also have the determination and qualities to raise their armies and stats for the sole purpose of... well... war

DDE2 - Again, not a training alliance, these guys are very close to DDE and are growing very quickly.

DD - Do not be fooled by their peace like manner.

TO - Quiet and powerful, they know how to defend themselfs...

TL - Don't mess with them, no defence is unmassable.

EPA - The old man of SGW making its comeback, misunderstood, an example of which can be seen in Svarun's post.

TL - An alliance made for great things but lost its way, only a few members still hold my respect.

Omega - Reliably annoying and powerful.

DDE - Similar to TL but in the opposite direction, starting to gain my respect even if I don't like your policies.

DD - A sneakey alliance that doesn't stick to its word.

Probably will get masses but meh, I gave my opinion.

DD = Neutral allaince who are diplomatic, but always ready to fight. Great allaince in ascension who reign supreme. great bunch of guys who are mostly always friendly.

Omega = warmongering allaince with a bad history concerning the community. always willing to wage war on any allaince no matter how powerful they are, tend to win too. calmed down since the TL war.

DDE = like the pawns on a chess set. someone is always massing or at war. seems there are no restrictions on members, like McDonalds they have a high staff turnover meaning they have to recruit alot cos alot leave lol.

TL = An allaince forged on great principles but with all power, evil takes over and this has shown to be the case sometimes, great bunch of guys, high army sizes very powerful.

TO = A Nuetral allaince doesnt take sides in anything, thinks through every action they do that could have consequences. often thought of as an allaince of rl friends who dont accept new players in. Average army size of 55mill. allaince has been around from the start in one form or another, and has had to grow successfully whilst never being allaied with the GA(CoP) with constant farming we all stuck together and grew, the greatest bunch of guys and gal i know

The SGW top 3, in a different league to everyone else:

The Legion: Very powerful alliance that doesn't coddle its members or try to impose on them - members are allowed to do their own thing, yet they still retain a single identiy as an alliance.

Omega: Very powerful alliance, probably underestimated post-COP/CIA war due to their silence, but bound to make an explosive comeback soon.

Dirty Dozen: Very powerful alliance, has a stranglehold on ascension, the sleeping giant that sits in the corner quietly and 'til they're provoked, when they turn deadly.

The others:

The Order: The new Ascended Generations, minus Mujo.

EPA: Still hanging in there.

Alpha: They've proven in terms of power and war that they can work independantly of Omega, but they still lack an independant alliance identity. What do they stand for? What seperates them from Omega other than their tag? What are their attitudes towards war? The game in general?

Dark Dominion: Trying to find their place in a post-COP world. Friendly outside of the game, in-game they're ruthless almost to the point of being unreasonable.

Foundation of Evil: Not Crystal Force! Lol.

FRA: Woot! FRA may be gone, but the FRA spirit lives forever.

Not to mention incredibly awesome members . Also trying to bring back that 'old school' feel to the game.

FAHQ - Alliance that's all about having fun. Great members who are always willing to help out and love nothing more than a good war.

Warlords of Briton - An alliance of great people who enjoy having a laugh and getting along with one another. Protectors and teachers to the Warriors of Briton. We have a active forum and hold pride in our ability to spam anything and turn the most simple/innocent words into an innuendo or sorts. We're a growing alliance and have been around coming up to 2 years (tomorrow I believe)

DDE - a bunch of kick ass folks who love a good ruck and wont put up with any crap from anyone
- get visits from the diplomatic folks and such they need to come and spam our forums off topic section

Omega & Alpha - the same breed as DDE good guys too they need to come and spam our forums off topic section

DD - good guys know a few of em and we have a couple visit our forums and pass on advice and knowledge! good alliance

The Legion - fairly new alliance (comprised of old members) good guys I think trying to find there little niche in the SGW's universe they need to come and spam our forums off topic section

The Cohort - another new alliance (again comprised of old members) know a few of the guys in the alliance who are good folks they need to come and spam our forums off topic section

see I dont want to feel bad but people should clearly come and spam our forums off topic section

So all in all good topic gets my seal of approval

Foundation of Evil- I think we have shed the Ex-Crystal Force tags once and for all. We fought hard and long in the CIA/CoP war and did not surrender. The actual planning behind our rebuild from nothing to a long long war to now has actually been well thought out. A lot of the rumours amuse me about our plans lol

Tauri Alliance- Fantastic alliance with some very good players and great people.

EPA- Another wonderful alliance. An old alliance that seems to be like a fine wine- getting better with age.

TSA- Good solid alliance.

Ancient Bretheren- A great alliance that is only going to get stronger.

Omega- Will be back to their former glory. I feel that they are watching and waiting for their time to rise again to ultimate greatness. ETL will rise again at its helm.

Alpha- Suffer from the 'crap version of Omega' tag. A very good alliance in their own right. I just wonder if that old saying "to gain a lot you have to lose a lot" applies to this alliance.

DDE/2- REK and friends have actually done a great job with this alliance. Probably the one that causes FoE the most headaches but we do respect them and their abilities.

DD- Interesting alliance, some interesting decisions, time will tell as to their new path and ultimate position in history.

The Great Races- A p2/3 alliance that is building well and steadily. When they first formed their biggest player was 200k, now they are even getting LG's out of their group- will start to grow even with no 'elder' players.

Slovenian Command/ST- Good alliance with a lot of guts.

OSL- Likewise

DD - I tend to associate Dirty Dozen with ascension. I realize they're a force to be reckoned with on both servers, but it's their ascended prowess which has always stuck out in my mind. Truly remarkable.

Omega - Still one of the greatest alliances ever, in my opinion. I've heard people say they haven't been the same post war, but as far as I can see they're still consistently highly ranked and house some of the best players in the game. Just biding their time until who knows what.

Team Bono - Underrated. People may dismiss them because of their arguably ridiculous name, or the fact they endeavour to be peaceful; but there are some very savvy people in that alliance.

TO - Home. I've heard people comment on the diversity of the membership in TO. Far from being a bad thing, I think this is one of the main contributing factors to their success. I honestly can't imagine myself being anywhere else right now.
