June 12, 2007 - ERA 10 -UBERMAN EXPLOSION
QUANTUM ERA/REALM DESCRIPTION
This quantum realm has mastered the ability to transimit -via a special field- a technological/biological wave that has incredible effects on the populace, both military and civilian. This ability has long been stolen and mastered by all races within the quantum-verse, and - for better or worse - the perfection of this single technology dominates the realm in lieu of most other technologies.
That said - it is quite a technology. A realm may instigate the 'UberMan OverCharge' Field - and it will affect just thier subjects. They can set the field strength to one of 3 levels - each level increasing their subjects abilities exponentially.
The downside, as there always is one, is death (yup, quite a downside). A certain percent of subjects - a percent increasing with the field strength - will die while 'amped up' via the UberMan OverCharge.
Each OverCharge lasts just 24 hours, and then all reverts to 'normal.'
Be wary of this tool - as you can see, while powerful, it is also dangerous. But - the real question - is if your enemies will risk it, will you? If you do, you can compete. If you do not, you will surely lose while they are under the UberMan OverCharge. But then again, they will die if they do, while your people may live to overpower them with numbers...IF...IF you can resist the urge to OverCharge.
The choice is yours...choose wisely.

SIGNIFICANT UPDATES
Goa'uld now has a 20% income bonus, and their special ability works only on attack.

i would also like to add 'congrats' to the previous threads. zaph - i did not know you had a 'finally' on a win :) well done.
last era was 'building' from start... this era promises much more chaos :) (no...not chaos.. .umm.... directed influence from well positioned and directed players... yes...thats better).

let the dogs of war rampage!! :)

forum where does the % of Daily Fatality Rate come from?

defence, attackers, spies on randomly?

Or is it 30% of ur daily UP u loose?

i have 8 glasses.
they have 1 liter each of: juice; water; pop; spritz; urine; wine; beer; sweat.

each day 10% of each liquid evaporates.

after 1 day, which glass lost the largest % of liquid??

Ouch.... this could be novel. Though I am not convinced a lot of people will use it.

why did you cut goa'uld bonuses? :o Now i'll ahve to change my race to soemthing more usefil, like tauri :shock:

I had to do the same snow wulf. But I think I understand why he did it. Still annoying though.

This wave seems to be interesting though and I will give it a go, and see what I can make out of it 8)

Will there be an era in which you HAVE to mass a few people per week? 8) I hope it'll be 8)

Oh and I'm not playing this era...will just help my friends but won't play otherwise :) Summer vacations and I'll miss about 1/3 of era due to being on the seaside and u can guess with who I'll be when I'll be "home" 8)

i know if i started playing this wave i wont stop, thats how i am but looks good, and for the ones that dont use it and r stat building shame on u, i most certainly would of used it and most likly on a daily basis, but im still not playing takes to much of my time up, maybe when i have more again
