so apparently up is cheaper buying it in bulk, now even past the fact its not said thats cool, except its all based on the price of that level of up your on...
now, from someone who just did it, it being a instant just from, 40 raw up to Unit Production 9,040 /day (9,944 total) at the cost of only 2.3billion naq, now me here having spent like 2 20$ sses and like at least 7bil naq, in like 6 purchases, get screwed because i dont exploit this, and yes you people say it isnt a bug but you refuse to post it...
2.3bil naq at starting up = Unit Production 9,040 /day (9,944 total) (900x levels of up for 2.3billion naq)
this needs a fix x.x

yes, but these jokers who exploit it now are going to be nothing more than good farms in a while. Those of us who are experience and willing to put forth the effort will provail. I'd also like to point out that this is still the first couple weeks, and the game changes so much in the next 2 1/2 months. If you guys really want that "bug" fixed, goto admin and talk to him about or something. We've already brought it up, it was dismissed as a feature, not a bug, and actually (though it might be a little too easy) it gives players who start a little late a good chance to catch up and evens the playing field for them. Keep in mind just because someone got a 9k UP from 0 doesn't mean they can hold onto their naq or they have all the techs and spy levels it takes to keep themselves from being a really good farm. Just play smart and don't whine and you'll stay on top.

Not to mention one other factor.
9k up is large now.
But the truth is that you will need atleast 40k-100k UP if you want to place in the top 10. I'm leaning more towards about 60k up myself but time will tell. I hope to do 10k a week.

well, this wave will also be about balance of size and power/naq. Uberman throws a major wrench at the monkey, or whatever. Maybe it throws monkeys at zaphor. Anyways, people who spend too long in uberman won't have the size they need even if they have larger UPs, people who don't spend time in uberman can't hold their incomes most likely and have a harder time farming. Uberman is the key to naq which is the key to growth in techs and UP. Off uberman is the key to having size at the end when uberman isn't available anymore. UP itself isn't the key to success, naq is. You just get more naq for a higher UP, but theoretically with miners on the market you could have a mediocre UP and still win this wave I believe. I also believe that because it makes me feel better when people are ahead of me =D

I like the way you think floop, coz I recokon I'm still in with a shot as well, even tho some people may have a good head start..
only problem with trying to win with a mediocre UP is that while on UberMan, it will be more costly to you, as you are not replacing enough of the units you are losing. So I think UP will be just as important, if not more so than usual.
On a side note.. if they combined last round and this round (no untraining units, but UberMan still around) I think trying to figure out what units to train would drive me insane
