Has anyone noticed that rankings have changed in ascended. I went down almost 200 spots, but was not attacked or anything. Stats are the same. Then Lord Rylan mentioned that admin might have done something to the rankings. I looked over the forum, but did not see anything (May have missed it). Does anyone know anything about this?

Rank is now entirely based on your influence. Check the Game Updates link in the top left of the ascension server screen.

If that is true than what is the point of having any other stats at all? Why should i strive to have a ranked 175 command star when the rank means nothing this is a horrible idea. I have always been good at efficiently using what troops i have and now it means little since i went down a good 200 ranks, so basically if all i do is upgrade unit pro i will get to the top, thats weak.

The point in having stats is so that you do not get revolutions launched against you, your military/intel cannot be easily destroyed, you cannot be farmed for dmu or raided of undeveloped planets.

You forgot assassins killed.

Plus being a lower rank means you get more AT and less people can raid you, all in all being lower ranked is a good thing.

Everyone gets 3 AT.

... when did that happen? I thought el n00blets got 5.

Ah well, I for one have found some good raid targets thanks to this... and at least I no longer feel constrained to nerf stats.

wanna trace places (well, obviously without swapping accounts, lol)? my rank went up by ~140 and liked my old one better .

Well guys it's not just a matter of training up UP productions as you still need everything else to protect it, and now it means you have to spy EVERYONE cause your not sure who's safe

this isnt good x.x i need to drop a few hundred ranks x.x

if this stays there needs to be an option to blow up some of your worlds to derank yourself, so you can use that annoying power mod to your advantage x.x lol
