Today about 18:00 East Cost Time (USA / EST). I Zeta was in a car accident. I was driving safely for once. and i was making a Right Turn down to my Brother Girlfriends house, THEN BOOM out of no where there is a Ford Econaline E150 headed right for the passenger side of my car. What ended up happening i get a ticket for reckless driving. (im only 19 so not really a good thing) but what we find out later this guy who hit me was doin 50mph in a 25mph residential/school(close for summer) zone. So on with teh story. my brother and his girlfriend get taken to hospital. He ends up having nothing wrong but she has minor whiplash, We all get home fine.

Long story short. Be careful, be safe, and when ur looking at cars Check there safety rating cuz if u get a good one it could save ur life.

Wow, that's quite a story there. I'm glad to hear that everyone in the car only sustained minor injuries.

Those two statements really don't add up. It doesn't sound like it was your fault, why were you given the ticket for reckless?

Probably the police felt that he was responsible for the accident because he's around 19. That age group has a bad driving rep, so sounds like zeta got a ticket for DWY. Driving While Young (compared to other drivers) :?

Ticket was mine due to Right of Way. They did not find he was speeding until hours later when the scene was analyzed

Seat belts FTW!!!

Glad to hear you guys are ok :)

I was in a crash a few months ago. Myself and a mate were driving along, normally, at the limit. and then the back started slidding out in his car, so we ended up going sideways down a hill, which was all well and good as it wasnt going to tip just slide till it stopped (no other cars on the road). But the road had a bend, and on the indie of the corner (also our side) there is a large ditch that follows the road filled with rocks. Front wheels caught it and threw the car in the air. rolled, landed, rolled, slid, stoped. yo know the drill.

Anyways we climbed out the window that wasnt blocked by he ground, had the car towed and uhhhhh, never met up with our mate to see that movie :P

you always here about the bad crashes, never the harmless ones.
