Increasing UP

Well...I think it would be great if you could change money getting mode into UP getting mode, ofc with a bit of loosing money...so you wouldn't get money on hand, but money getting invested UP...but with around 50% less money on 1 turn
Well..what do you guys think?

it will just cause less Naq going around in the game, and make people raid more, and yet another way to protect your account overnight from being attacked

Actually I think this isn't such a bad idea, and the fact that it would give some extra cover for your account while your asleep/at work isn't a negative thing. I would vote yes for this idea.

I earn a hefty amount, and well I would just leave my account in that UP mode for a long time, and attack people for naquadah when i need it.. I'd also raid alot to increase my UP... (also i'd stay in pergatory so i wouldnt really need to be on my account much, probably once every few days).
If i'd invested everything i got into a stupid defense say 300-400 billion, Without mercs. buy some more mercs ontop.) Put a tonne of covert agents up. so no1 could sabb me, and well i could probably go on holiday for what a week or two. come back to a nice UP a nice amount of turns and a hefty amount of UU. XD

It was a good idea, but i believe it would be better suited to the limited 3 months of quantum. Then you wouldnt have stupid RAW UP's.
Probably even put a limit to the investment as well. like an option to invest say 10%, 20% (but have a cap) or sumsuch into increasing UP??

im pretty sure there would be a max to the amount you can sink your TI into UP, it would probably be slow... and most likely take a % of your income as cost such as realm alert....
but this wouldnt really add a lot of strategy.... if anything take a little away..... as the UP could keep increasing and increasing... when you can increase it yourself with your income.

still it would mean that people wouldnt raid as much.
Plus the guys with the big incomes would have Huge UPs

Ok let me fix it: make it cost A LOT and last for a VERY SHORT TIME. Plus you'd have more reason to raid people. More UU out.

its too much of a good thing that it would ultimately destroy the game
