When I try to open another tab (bank/armory).. i get this error.
browser error...cannot determine referring page.
To Login to the game, use the main page form.
Please ensure your browser supports passing referring information (referrer logging). This information is used SOLELY to ensure your visit is your own, and from our site. The referrer logging is enabled by default in all browsers, and very standard on the internet.
Also note that typing in urls, or using links that are not matched to your current login, will not work.
This is to protect you and your account from fraudulent activities and/or hacks.
Your broswer information is below for your reference, as is a list of methods to allow referrer logging. exiting....
I did all the following steps it told me to do, to allow *.stargatewars.com
but still.. this doesn't solve the problem.
anyone have any suggestions?

Punch your computer until it gives you answers and roll it up in a rug. Then dump it in a landfill...

Sheppard: This is what I do when I have problems with my laptop, I turn it off and then I... turn it on again.
Weir: I think this is a little bit more complicated than that.
Sheppard: I'm just saying that if we're taking a page from the John Sheppard book of computer repair, we're really desperate.
try resetting your internet settings?

What OS and browser do you use?
Do you have any addons for your browser? Adblock, etc.
How about a firewall? Norton, MacAffe

thats actually suposed to happen. it was a security update from a while ago...
basically unless u clicked on an in-game link urself while you are logged in, it wont work.

Blai: if your question hasn't been answered yet, to open a new tab in firefox with SGW in it, hold control and left click any link (ie. the armory page)
Deathshotshooter: what he means is you cant click links to something ingame from anywhere else but in the actual game
even if you are logged in, the browser tells the new page what page you were previously on and the 'security update' he speaks of, makes sure that the 'previous page' is also from stargatewars.com (the forum is on herebegames.com)
to get to links such as
http://www.stargatewars.com/stats.php?id=44452 (me, for example) you need to open the attack page ingame (battlefield.php) and in the box down the bottom that says "To User ID:" type the number after "id=" in the link
(this is to my understanding)
