Perhaps, an apology to JediMasterX?

Here's the scoop - I will lay down the scenario and if I am convinced by the general SGW community on why I have wronged JediMasterX, I publicly and profusely ask for JediMasterX's forgiveness and apologize sincerely.

JediMasterX and I had an agreement. NAP for both of us; I would not hit him, his 25 officers or his alliance if he would not hit me, my 0 officers or my alliance. If someone from either alliance hit the player, the officer or the alliance of the other player, then the JediMasterX or myself would be free to punish.

One day, I accidently hit JediMasterX's officer while on my evening jog (aka farm spree). JediMasterX sent me a message and I apologized for unknowingly hitting his officer (he does have 25, its hard to avoid them all). I sent a message to the officer asking him if he wanted to reimburse the damage and loss. No answer.

A week ago, geisha, Blahh, zesh and disturbed_one massed my alliance, MACO. Sweet.

Anywas good luck Omega Legion Team. Wish I could have jumped in, maybe another time.

In my opinion, that's a threat that JediMasterX WISHED that he could jump in and mass me and my alliance and thus breaking his word. Disloyalty. Clearly, I might be a little angry.

DDE JediMasterX wrote:Yeah when REK wants someone massed, no one asks questions. Just do it. And is this still going on and am I allowed to jump in? I see a rank 57 account in MACO that you guys 'missed'....

More threats to mass my alliance. Perhaps, this would indicate that he meant to break his word. Ouch.

That's acceptable.

Apparently, JediMasterX is insulted that I doubted his word and was unsure of his gender. I am a proper lad now. There are a few female players in this forum. Despite talking to JediMasterX, I still did not know his gender (honestly, it really doesnt matter). While there are a few female players, at the same time, there could be transexuals/hermaprodite players and I do not mean any insult towards this. Thus, in my attempt to be proper, I have insulted him. (Yes, I found out he was male very recently).

Thus, JMX is mad. And I want to know why he is insulted. If the general body can convince me and show me WHY this is insulting given the circumstances and while pointing out that he may not be a man of his word (he threatened to mass my alliance), he is still the greater displeased.

Then, I will apologize in the most embarassing manner possible. Publicly. Ouch.

threats aside unless he does something he can say whatever he wants. same as you, the NAP is based on a lack of action by both sides, not what the other person says. words are meaningless without action. just my two cents but not really the meat of the story here.

if he felt insulted i think its proper to do the right thing and explain to him that wasnt the intent and apologize. seems like a simple thing, to me anyway.

i think it COULD be construed as insulting as sometimes people use the phrasing you used in a way to be dismissive of the other person. IF it was not meant to insult then apologize and explain it to him. again seems like a simple thing to do.

I hereby accept this apology. Kinnel I had no real intent on jumping in on that little massing. I said I wish I could. Basically meaning I wanted to, but I couldn't. And the rank 57 guy or whatever, I was just pointing that out.

As you said I never broke my proise except to mass you and cityhunter, who hit my officers a few times after being told not to. Hopefully after this little skirmish we can go back to being on good terms. At least you were online and didn't lose all of the 8 mil troops.

personally I reckon the best thing for m.a.c.o to do right now would to be not making threats towards a DDE alliance. Or one of its members.
