Has G&R Changed needed to ascend?

I missed the chat with Admin today due to my job, but My ascension image is now gone. So I am just curious since I can't find an Update announcement in the ascension update page or here on the forums if this has been changed or it is a bug?
Any got any info on this?

i'm not sure...
i can see the box to ascend but i have over 10k g and r points aswell
he has probably upped the g and r needed to like 2k or something

Can we be updated about stuff like this? Or will Forum always be cryptic about stuff like this so players will make decisive errors and restart planning and everything.
Due to the new once every 2 week ascension, i think this is a good move, though.

nah more likely he did something a bit funny!, cause you might need 2 weeks to see the option, but you have the GP frist if you catch my drift!

I haven't noticed a difference and my ascend box is still there, but I have over 3800 G&R atm.

It's been two weeks for me and I have 1700 G&R points. No ascend box. I'm clearly pissed.
Clearly admin is being mysterious about the update.

And it makes you wonder why? Is it so hard to write a lil message? a quick explanation? I'm sure he's busy and will get around to it one day. I hope hes squashing those cheats and fixing their exploits.

Yeah. It's really unfortunate. Without this update, I would have been an Ancient God by today. =/
Now, I'm looking at early August. I still don't have the ascend button and I'm at 1900 G&R points with two weeks done. Perhaps when I reach 2000 (later today), I'll be able to tell.

It is possible that admin has suspended everyone from ascending so he can fix the bug that was exploited.

I now have 1014 G&R and I have the ascend button. But remember it's been more than 2 weeks for me since I last ascended.

I somehow gained the ability to ascend around 1894 G&R and its been two weeks + 2 days since I last ascended. And I did ascend.
Unfortunately, I have two more ascensions to go and only 3 more weeks. This is going to suck. I really do not see a reason for getting more GR points while being in the top 100 if there is going to be a time limit on how often you can ascend.
