i know that the regular send message will not work, and that according to the above perg q+a the send to all aliance members does work, what about the send to all officers option, will this get through to my officers?

Could you test it? Perhaps, send a message using that button asking the one's in purg to message back?

that is why im asking, they wouldnt be able to reply as i understand it and the officers i want to contact that way i dont have any other forms of comunication with

Why not try it? There are only a few possibilities:
You send them the message - then if the deadline runs out and you've not gotten an answer on here or from them, you'll have to jump realms.

Or, you get an answer here, and your officers in purg don't get the first message.

And finally, they get the message and reply.

that is a good idea, i never thought of getting them to reply in this thread, ill send that message now. wont be able to jump realms as im too big. ill ask if they can post here within 48 hours

If I'm not mistaken, people in perg can message people in normal, unless this has changed.

Geh, I just remembered:
Do you have any old PM's from them in your inbox? As far as I can recal, you can reply to messages - though afaik there is no way to get to the send new message.

It may have changed; I was in purg for a while - and at one point distinctly remember being unable to contact an alliance member in the main realm via-PM.

if it helps: i couldn´t reply to an alliance wide PM while i was in perg

since myseri is my CO:
he sent a message to all his officers and I'm in the other realm: received....

However, when I reply on it I get an error because difference of realm.

so: personal messages can't be sent between realms
officer/alliancewide messages can be sent between realms BUT not replied on them
