I am in pergatory, I have plenty of money and I have space for over 100,000 mercs since I have like 200,000 super soldiers but when I try to even buy 1 it says You do not have enough resources to pay however I do and have room for mercs, anyone else having this problem?

Maybe you don't have the naq to cover such an expense. 100k in mercs is 300m naq.

im not in perg however im having the same prob I can't even buy one merc despite having well over 20 bill maybe the price has gone up can someone look into this please BUMP!!!!!!!!!1

Are you buying 100k Strike Mercs and have 200k Strike Super Soldiers?

Or

Do you have 200k DEfence super soldiers trying to buy 100k Strike mercs?

Also do you have the appropriate merc upgrades? What %? (should say at the top of the merc page)
it will also say how many mercs you have and how many you can have...


You have to match the mercs your buying with the super soldiers of that type

e.g. for a LG+1 with all merc upgrades we get 105% mercs
So for 100k Defence Super soldiers I can have 105k defence mercs
and the same for Attack supers/mercs

You cant have 100k Defence Supers and 0 Strike Supers and try to buy Strike Mercs

There has been a game update removing that ability.

So each Merc has to have supers to "work with"

no everything is in order I have room for about 300k mercs I only have 50k and I have enough naq!

I have noticed this problem as well and im in the main realm. It says i can have like 2mil mercs and i bearly got over 1mil, and when i try to buy even a few k it says i dont have enough resources for it even through i have a few bil out. and this was trying to buy say 10k mercs,lol.

Have you alla calculated in the Merc Update?

Yes i also have this problem.... then to test it is had 1bil out and tried to buy 1 Attack merc didn't worl....You do not have enough resources to pay

Tried to buy 1 defence merc and it worked so um yeh?

Just to clear things up, I took the liberty of spying on you.

You have more attack mercs than you do attack supers. If you want to buy more attack mercs then you will need to get your number of super attack soldiers above the number of attack mercs that you have.

The reason you can buy more defense mercs is because you have far more defense supers than you do defense mercs.


On a side note, you have one of my planets I lost around 2 months ago during the CIA war, lol. The "I have never seen a purple cow" one. I only noticed because you never changed the name. I don't want it back, just found it funny

I'm getting this problem now too. I'm trying to buy defense mercs, and even if I try to buy only 1, it says that I don't have enough resources to pay. I have 500k defense supers, and zero defense mercs...

ok post your merc tech upgrade what amount is says you can have... (on the merc page)
mine is

You can only have 105.00 percent (base of 25 plus 80 percent in upgrades) of your trained troops as mercenaries.
Beyond that, you do not have enough troops loyal to you to ensure compliance to your orders.
You now have:
2310000 Trained Mercs.
2200000 Trained Military Units.
You can have a maximum of 2,310,000 Trained Mercs.

I have 1 mill strike supers and 1.2 mill defence supers
I have 0 problem buying mercs as I have just done it...

So with my 1mill strike supers I can have 1,050,000 Strike Mercs
and 1mil defence supers I can have 1,260,000 defence mercs

Mercenaries Type Resale Per Unit Quantity Available Quantity to Sell
Attacking Mercenaries 1,800 Naquadah 1,050,000
Defending Mercenaries 1,800 Naquadah 1,260,000

And I have been able to purchase exactly that

so please post your information in a similar format to me please so we can see what you have as supers and mercs and what % your allowed
