32 inches... 1 foot is 12 inches, 3 feet is 36 inches
your screen is 4 inches short of 3 feet?

my desktop set up involves me using 2x1680x1050 resolution on dual 22inch widescreens, in piano black finish.
pwnt.
i also get my university laptop august 13th. i'll share my desktop specs later, but including the monitors it ran me up 2000$ CAD

lcds, plasmas??? ehh... i project my screen on the building across the road. it's 3 stories high and 40 yards wide like.

Since when is alienware good? They are so overpriced you could probably afford a decent car with the money, or pay off your mortgage, whatever one.
If you want to do it right, build a computer yourself. That's what I did, and I spent about £1200 and have a max spec computer.
