Are any of you in danger of being flooded out of your homes? Does anyone know if any player has been flooded?

Safely & Wisely my home isnt built on a flood plain as people werent so damn foolish in the 60's

Not heard of any players I know been in danger of flooding.
Kind of serves us right for building all these vast expanses of concrete & forgetting what gardens & fields are for. Also serves people for buying up homes that developers have built with out bothering to improve drainage/sewerage/power infrastructure.

i didn't think i had been hit to bad, but it got under my house, and after the loss adjusters came and had a look all the bottom of my house is saturated, they are having to rip up all the floor boards and plaster of the walls take out kitchen and bathroom.
gunna have to move out for 6 months+
not fun

does your home insurance cover water damage, like flooding?

Most used to, but in recent years its been practice to remove that from policies that used to cover it. Nowadays normal house insurance wont cover flood damage, unless explicitly stated.
Some wont cover it at all depending on where you house is & if you want it covered you have to get separate flood insurance, which needless to say isnt cheap

some people wont help out people who have been flooded cuz they say its an act of god... so they use that excuse to get out of the insurance

The insurance companies will try their very best not to help you. May need to take it to court to get help from them, and then ud probably lose.
