Ok this was my first major war, and I looked at my profile and saw that it was the topic I had the most posts in.
This is back in beginning of September 06'
lol, so far, at page 18 there's been the conspiracy theories, my nooby little whinning (which is kind of embarassing :\ )
and then the whole making fun of TOAA for fighting back when TO didn't.
who else was spectator or in that war back then? I know I'm friends with Jenny now, which is kind of ironic considering I *hated* her. But re-reading this... is a flashback to some of the dislike I had for some people back then. Almost also makes me wonder why TO never really did fought back, not that I ever really knew of it if it happened.
Interesting read... anyone else remember it or want to comment on it? I just thought it was interesting to see ourselves back a year ago, under pressure of war.

turns out that Jenny was online repairing lol... and it was some weak defense but I was there trying to mass away hoping the weps would eventually break. I made my point

From what I recall, TO may have taken a while to get their act together, but they started fighting back and kicking ass eventually.

lol mystake i dont hate u,we had a lttile difference in opinion and it ende in a friendship breaking and im sorry for that lol
the thing is i was away wen i got massed then jumped onto ppt as i didnt know wat was going on but wen i came off i did wat ever i could do
and i remember rightly i massed teal'auc 3 times, small defences but it was still fun the banter we had lol
nice to have a recollection of it and tbh looking back at it the war didnt really need TO cos TOAA killed them anyways lol
i was the only big player they were able to mass lost my 150bill defence or something in the process adn jenny AC'ed 2mill of my spies which she still owes me :p and i think chris m only got massed cos corkscrew did it lol the others couldnt hehe
anyways mystake i dont hate u and u can talk to me on msn wen everu like

kinda wondering what the point of this thread is, though....
I mean.... recollections of the past are great, but when it's so narrow as to recall one war from a year ago, it's best done in msn...
now if this is a thread for recollecting ALL wars or something like that it'd belong in general.... t'would need a topicname change, though...
otherwise, the next mod along will probably lock it.

Kinda confused as to why you brought this up lol. But you got 1 thing wrong, you cant say TO never fought back because...well, they did.
But this is probably my favourite war I've been in with FAHQ, got real respect for TO ever since it.

This has been the most enjoyable of FAHQs wars I must say. Since the enemy fought back and didn't whine and complain. But if you really wanted to bring it back and not have "relation to section" issues, you should of put int in GC.
But man, I miss jixie
. And that just shows how I used to be a striker, now I am a ACer

Those who find it enjoyable in causing others to quit are...well, sad.
Anyway, who quit? If they quit cos of getting massed then they were not worthy of the FAHQ title anyway.
p.s. Dyne, wanna start the "Get JIX back foundation" we could take donations and everything!

lol i will never forget the war coz i was online at the time and JIX declared war on the alliance (TOAA) and he had 0 defence but loads of spies. i was ACing him whilst asking what was going on. after a bit he realised it was a slight distraction whilst his spies were going.
still remains one fact for me tho, i have only really been fully massed once (successfully) and it happened in this war at the hands of Corky. t'was a interesting experience :p

hehe to chris's first successful mass. One day I might give you the enjoyment of an old officer to old CO friendly bout.
until then, I'm going to annoy the Player that nabbed me from you...
but i will say this, good initiation into the game for me. lol, right when school was starting for me too. worst time for a war.
