Savage losses of Units

now I hope this is a bug or the % of units lost when attacking is way too much... and not based on damage done...
I decided to try raiding... I have (had) 1.25million Strike Supers and 1.25million strike mercs
There were only 100 weapons (thus the low strike damage)

this devastating damage was Defensive Action 4,565,234,375
Defensive Supers 125000 (this is tauri btw)
Now can anyone explain since when do you lose that many units when sufferring devastating damage at such a low number?
also when someone attacks me (1/10th of my defense)
sending 306,000 Super Soldier and 68,734 Away Team
306,000 Super Soldier have Armed Military Fleet
2,000 Away Team have Armed Military Fleet
66734 Away Team came unarmed!
(practically all there guys armed) They only lose 44k?
this damage update is lame...
"These have increased slightly, to 3.5% on attack, 2.5% on defence.
Being at war does increase this.
The difference between your strength, and your enemies strength, also affects this - as it did before, although the effect of this difference has also increased. ie - attacking a much more powerful foe will result in more losses...a weaker foe in less losses...
(but keep in mind, as before, it is still a percent of YOUR forces that die, regardless of the enemy strength. So if you have a lot of forces, many will die...this is just the nature of huge amounts of beings with weapons all at the same place at the same time... this has not changed.)
The minimum of 20% of their defence power, in attack power, to damage them at all, still remains, as does the supers taking only 50% of normal losses."
so inorder for me to raid if I accidentlly hit the wrong raid button and hit someone with defence I will slaughter my strike troops...

its probably going to be closed cos its not a bug but can it be moved to enhancements released section...
Because I dont lose that much stuff if I hit someone with 200bill defence and I have 220 bill strike...
