Number of attack that dies

Hey, here is my frustration :P:

If i am attacking a persone with 200 bil defence,

a) And i have 1,8 mil attackers making 300 bil strike

b) And i have 2,4 mil attackers makeing 400 bil strike

In both cases attackers are super attackers.

What i wana know is, in which case do i lose more soliders?

I mean in first case, the diffrence between his defence and my attack is smaller. But in second case, much more units go on front... So in which case will i lose more units?

Thanks for your answers

I believe the more you have the more you lose

That is true, apparently the downside of having a large army is that you will almost certainly loose a certain amount of men.

I would quote the game guide but i dont want to bore you. The short version is ss take half damage of normal units but a certain percentage of men will die when a attacking i think its 3.5% on attack for normal and half for ss. the more men you have the more you loose in this case so i think having that having 1.8 mill attackers with 300 bill strike would result in less losses. Im not completly confident but im quite sure this is generally how it works.

You can use mercs to take some damage but im not sure if mercs are classed under ss or normal units as you can only have a ratio of ss to mercs 1:1.

hoped this helped :-D

the mercs are definately counted as normal units :-D :-D .

BTW it's 1:1.05 for super soldiers to mercs 8)

Well i suppose you could ask a mod or admin directly, unless someone else who knows for sure would like to provide an answer?

If you read the game guide, it says that "For a full 15 turn attack, 3% of your normal attack units can die while 1.5% supers can die". Basically I read this as in up to that percentage of your troops can die. For example, whenever you attack a zero defense account, you have no unit losses regardless of how large your attacking army is. Also whenever I take a look at my attack log, I typically see that the larger the difference is between strike and defense, the fewer troops the attacker losses. So I would definitely go with 400 bil strike having fewer super losses.

erhm.. I've had losses from attacking 0 defense accounts before.. happened when I was raiding with 1mil unarmed attackers. I know why it happened, but this is just lettin everyone know you can lose troops on 0 defense accounts.

Thanks for clearing that up but if you check the "game update section" the unit losses have changed to 3.5% on attack. Im not to sure about ss but since it says ss take only 50% of normal attacks im gussing its 1.75% for ss.

It depends on the number of troops you're using.

I personally would go with the 300bill. The addition of 600K units, is really going to exceed or nullify any small percentage gain of blowing past their defense.
That's also another 600K weapons in need of repair/purchase - and even if you do end up losing more units running 300bill (and I actually think you'd lose less) - the naq saved in repair bill's would probably be enough to buy them back.

Eh, test it for us :P

You could e-mail them - but I wouldn't hold out much hope for an answer in this thread. :)

Just spend 30 At and a few K units to test it for us :P
