Date is set in place.

Melbourne, 22nd of September.

We have quite a few Melbourne players anyway, and I know of a few players willing to travel from interstate.



Meet up activitie suggestions so far:
Bowling (like last time)
Laser Wars (like last time)
Go Cart Racing
Retro (like last time, this is not option, you are all gonna dance! lol)


Please feel free to add your suggestions, even if you think it could be too expensive.

Keep in mind that I'm going to try and make it an all ages event.

The thing is, if we do paint ball, it's no longer an all ages event. Laser wars is good that way I guess.

exactly, it stings for a moment. i was shot in the head a few times, but the adrenalin keeps you going and you dont realise till after.

Currently it looks like it will be on the 22nd of September so alas for us, a little before Halo 3

Also, looking at the current line up we may have to start the day earlier this time to fit the stuff in, either that or cut back the content.

Bowling was rather expensive for the time spent so I vote nay. I'd rather a group meet around some "FLAT" full size pool tables for a few games.

Lasertag was fun but due to it's similarity to Paintball I think it should either be one or the other.

Karting sounds like fun but will depend on location and cost.

Speaking of location, as a few of the people coming will be under age and not everyone will be driving, it may be a problem getting to some of the activities if they aren't centrally located like last time. So if it is decided to go Paintballing or Karting, there will need to be a mode of transportation at hand.

Then we have Karaoke... If you're a masochist, you are welcome to join me otherwise I would not advise it...

Lastly there is Retro. Naturally not an all ages event, besides most of you youngens should be asleep by the time we get there, let alone leave.

And in between there will be lunch and dinner. Either way, it's looking to be a great way to start of the University mid-semester break.
