Has this little beauty stopped people from wanting to double ascend so quickly in main? there is a hell of a cost to get one but you need it to stay in the top 100??

You will just go up a little slower

actually in all the confusion in the first few hours it allowed me to get into the top 10 for a bit so it's helped me cut down on the time it will take to reascend.

In the long run it will probably slow me down a bit but it's not going to stop me from reascending.

I'm wondering how many ascension points they are worth though.

Are you required to have a mothership to ascend in main now?
It also seems that the only thing special about ascension now, is spending ascended life force on stuff. Most stuff is getting replicated to main it seems.

Not required, but try getting G+L points with out one! you rank too low.

And come on, we get tuns of extra options in ascended. Attack options for example, trained labour planets, god abilties and levels, and forum has yet to add the cosmic trade feature yet. You never know what that might entail!!!

i went from 59 to 95 b4 i had a mothership( i logged off a couple of hours b4 they were introduced) and then went up to 46 again after i bought one and upgraded it at the cost of 2k weapons

I just ascended, and I can tell you that the MS did not contribute to the power points. I just wasted naq to maintain rank (probably why I called mine "money pit". From the looks of it, many players are spending lots of naq upgrading their MS, so I expect to have to waste a lot more on my next one before I can ascend again.

So do motherships count towards rank or not? I know they initially did but doesn't it say in the updates they don't count towards rank? Sorry, mothersjips got me confused.

i think the motherships have their own rank its just it doesn't contribute to the strike or defense rank. I think thats right..... So motherships u need to get higher in the rankings now. Can u see motherships in recons now tho?
