SGW player awards

Hey I was thinking, since the mods get their own awards, why cant players ?
Catagories like best leader (Wolf359) best spammer (Tok`ra) most known for smiley posts (REK)
I mean, it seems kinda silly to have mod awards, but not player/poster awards
EDIT: nevermind, I have just been informed this was allready tried, but canceld because certain mods didnt like who was winning.

Some of the races on their forums elect the best members of their race so a little of that still goes on.

Yeah, but thanks to my freind who reminded me of it....... I seem to recall an OFFICAL player/poster award that was done anualy........ and it got canceld when the 'wrong' people were winning....
Yet the mods still get their award threads..... (and in general at taht, not in its own special section. I know teh 'kiss up to teh modz' section)

Not that it matters, its not like the community will get its rewards............
Or prehaps it is getting its rewards, hence the dwindling ammount of true community left on the fourms.

The community is doing pretty awesome at the moment, and the truth is that the awards are really not needed. Any informed active player knows who the legends are.

good god two of those catagories arn't even valid in general spam and smiley posts are the domain of the temple and i should also mention that tokra was permabanned... award catagories can't include inactive or perma-banned members as for rek and smiley posts no that distinction goes to the spammers... look--->
