Well, Since the current select of mods and admins have lost face, and touch with the comminity.
I suggest the removal of all mods and admin powers and an election for mods, in each section.

LET the PEOPLE VOTE!


I for one feal i'm up for the job, and judging by my account i don't think i need any ( kick backs).

I agree with High Empty here, but not all mods need to go, only the ones who cant seem to handle the forum and game, and feel they need an unfair advantage over the other players, to beable to handle both game and forum.

The ones who don't want the update to be put in place, should stay, they clearly have what it takes to be a mod. The rest well me'h.

you realize, that those mods also have to put up with this crap as well as the normal thankless routine whenever something goes wrong.

the administration can't even thank them properly anymore without giving them more grief...

Some do a very good job without being biast..

Say you guys get your wish.

Then you realise how much you guys put us through with shouting mod abuse and such, you'd rather quit being a mod yourself.

The current mods have put up with all of this, and will do. I don't know how some of them do it, but they do.

As has been posted there are some good mods, and some very good mods, and some of them put up with some grief, others alot.
Mabye it's also time that we discuss rule changes, as well do we really need them all.

More thoughts to follow.

Most of the mods are good. Its just the ones that think they cant handle being a mod and playing the game.

i do not believe the answer is to remove all mods from the forum, most of them do a good job from my view, there's just a few that need to be re-read, or read the forum rules, and ofc that 4th mt never be released

and to those mods saying that they get a lot of crap from players etc... well u can never please everyone, in any situation, you just need to do ur job the best u can, by the rules, be an example for the rest, and even then u get crap from players, why do u need to care about that, u did ur job the right way has it was supposed to be done, so just dont pay any attention to those players, cause doing the job right you will have the appreciation of the other players, even if they dont say so

lol, all this talk about the mods, its making me want to be a mod here, if the 4th mt doesnt come out or any other ingame advantage ofc, just to see if it is that hard, cause i mod other foruns, and never had any problem lol

there you have a few people read to take up those postions that you all so want to get paid for, and why would someone pay someone when he can get it for free.

Almost all the mods are very good. They have the occasionaly hicough, but lets face it, who wouldn't.

And yes, all you people that have modded an alliance board or another forum, you may think you are up for the job but are you really?

This board is a focal point for all the anger and recriminations that happen ingame.....for all the people who can't just lighten up and realise its just a game (and yes, there are a lot of people)....for all the alliance politics....for all the maneouverings of guys whose heads are way too big....

Lets face it, 99.9% of the time the mods do an excellent job. Personally, I'd rather have the lesser of two evils and keep the current staff. Better the devil you know
