Is there a certain amount of rank % you have to be to descend someone? eg you can only descend someone that is 20% that of your rank?

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, I did look but couldnt find anything

Due to the rank modifier you can only attack people a certain distance from you rank wise, this applies to all attacks not just ascended attacks. I'm not sure of the percentages though.

It doesn't apply to all attacks, you can always attack someone for dmu, just with a 60% modifier.

Not true. Just for the hell of it, yesterday I tried attacking my page one friend for DMU. It said he was too distant and I was unable to attack him.

Up your strike a load and you will be able to hit him, its not based on rank solely but your strike compared to their defence as well.
