I am interested as to how this is actually worked out. I know that it is based on army size and thought that it was only this but I noticed a player with a significant smaller amount of planets and a lower rank than I am. I also viewed the stats to see anything there still contributing to it and the only one I can find was charisma. Anyone able to shed anymore light on this for me

You were right. It's charisma. Your charisma powerup, and your total number of planets, are what contributes to your influence power.

From what I've seen the Charisma makes a huge difference in it.

yea mine started giving me a huge boost now my charisma is up to 73

boost that, it helps your UP on ascended and your influence

I'll give you an example

My charisma is level 70.
My influence is worked out as my number of planets x 4913 (approx)
My cosmic expansion rate is my fleets x 4.913 (approx)

Thats basically how its worked out, though i don't no if there's a calulator out there that can tell you what the multiplyer is for each charisma level.
I'm hoping theres a calc out there that can tell me at what UP is it better to invest in charisma rather than fleets on a per dmu basis.

my UP gives me 5 per upgrade now because of my charisma. and i only have 7.7k cosmic exploration fleets. in total its only 40k UP

lol only 40k im at 12k

but yeah ive got one huge ascension to come in about a week. and with the new updates ill get like 35m life force. thats enough to get from charisma 50 to 70 right?

Level 71 currently costs 1030000 LF, you'll get much further than that as it is let alone before the updates come in
